Came here for the first time, for our 20th anniversary. It was a 5-star experience across the board.

We didn’t have reservations and the place was hopping. We were greeted by the owner who seated us at a high top table to wait for a seated table to open. She even took our drink order, and then quickly found us 2 seats at the bar. She didn’t know it was a special occasion for us, but she sure treated us like it was.

Bartender was fun to watch make drinks, and her drinks were delicious and strong. Very creative drink menu, along with some nice local beers.

For food, I got the scallops and shrimp gnocchi, served in a thick, complex sauce. Every bite tasted unique and delicious. I ate it so slowly, savoring every new tingle on my taste buds. Wife got arugula salad with salmon. Same deal, complex tastes and absolutely delicious.

Every single staff member was so pleasant and accommodating — even though they were all working incredibly hard.

Overall it’s a really special place, and goes on my list of best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Thanks to them for helping make a special occasion so memorable ❤️

Celebrated a birthday at Copper Fox and had an amazing experience!. Great selection of wines and beers, super friendly and attentive staff, and absolutely delicious food. The Spicy Chicken Sandwich was packed with flavor and Mac’s Buttermilk Fried Chicken was perfect—crispy, juicy, and so satisfying. Highly recommend for a special night out!

We visited The Copper Fox twice during our month stay in Springfield. All of the dishes we ordered we excellent and the drinks were fun and delicious. We live in downtown Raleigh, NC and this restaurant would fit in perfectly. The old brick interior, high ceilings, and ambience were perfect! Highly recommend if you're in the area.

We went for family dinner and everything was amazing! My husband ordered the steak and it was the best steak we’ve had out in quite awhile . Mac and cheese so much flavor! Service was terrific as well. Music was a little loud and two of us were chilly in there but nothing that would stop us going back!

We stumbled into The Copper Fox and left already planning the next visit. The food was outstanding, the service on point, and the vibe hit that perfect sweet spot of cool and relaxed.

From the moment you walk in, the aesthetic tells a story—clean lines, copper-topped tables, bold fox art, and a cozy hearth that makes the room feel warm without trying too hard. Music and lighting stay in the background so the conversation (and the food) can shine. It’s stylish, unfussy, and comfortable.

Mr. Fox Pizza
Ultra-thin, blistered crust with a great crackle. The pepperoni had just the right sizzle, the ricotta dollops added creamy pockets, and the basil brightened every bite. Balanced, craveable, and dangerously easy to finish.

Buttermilk Fried Chicken
Golden, shattering crunch outside, tender and juicy inside. Served over a tangy slaw that cuts the richness and a creamy dipping sauce that I’d happily buy by the jar. Simple, confident, perfectly seasoned.

Wild Mushroom Pizza
Earthy mushrooms layered over that same crisp crust, finished with a shower of shaved cheese and a fresh tumble of arugula. It’s the “one more slice” kind of pizza—bright, savory, and satisfying without feeling heavy.

Scallops & Corn Risotto
A comfort-bowl masterpiece. Sweet corn and silk-smooth risotto with beautifully cooked scallops, topped with fresh herbs for lift. Every spoonful hits creamy, sweet, and briny notes in balance.

Lemon Curd Bramble (dessert)
A tall glass of joy—silky lemon curd, whipped cream, and buttery crumble. Tart, bright, and refreshing; the ideal finish!
Service was the definition of hospitality: warm welcome, smart pacing between courses, waters topped off without asking, and helpful guidance on the menu. You can feel a team that cares about the guest experience.

The Copper Fox delivers across the board—thoughtful cooking, polished service, and a chill, modern atmosphere that makes you want to linger. If you’re deciding what to order, start with the Mr. Fox Pizza and Fried Chicken, add the Wild Mushroom Pizza to share, treat yourself to the Scallops & Corn Risotto, and don’t skip the Lemon Curd Bramble.
Epic meal. We’ll be back soon.

After being asked if we had any dietary restrictions or preferences, told the server I was vegan. There was an off menu vegan special. Fried rice cake with a Latin tomato sauce and squash. Service and atmosphere was excellent. One if the best vegan meals I've had out. A

What a pleasant surprise! The food was excellent. My husband had the quail. We have discerning palates and The Copper Fox lived up to our expectations. The bartender was outstanding. She was so knowledgeable and super efficient and friendly. Great experience. We'll be back next time we're in Vermont.

Listen, even if you only go for the drinks and dirty potatoes, it's worth it. The beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, and quality ingredients are just a huge bonus.
