Chad made it happen. I needed curry pumpkin soup and grilled cheese for dinner even though the grilled cheese wasn't on the dinner menu and he got the kitchen to create this pairing for me. Universes collided in my mouth. It's difficult to describe in words the inspiration I currently feel. 6/5 stars.
We dined here twice during our stay, one for breakfast and one for dinner. I missed the photo op for breakfast but the peanut butter pancakes were FILLING!! I wasn't hungry until dinner that day. For dinner another day, we ate at the bar and service was quick, the atmosphere was like luxury apres, and the food was delicious! We had the chicken cordon blue, and the steak frits, as well as the maple creme brulee. Do yourself a favor and grab a meal here (or two, or three......
We started with the maple buffalo wings, they were delicious. The Caesar salad was good. I ordered the bistro steak and my boyfriend had the trout. Both were excellent. The steak was marinated in something salty, only negative, and the cut was cooked medium rare and tender. I loved the apple dessert. The chocolate cake was of course a 10. Service was attentive and friendly. Idk why there is a service computer directly next to a dining chair- that is a poor design and there should...
