The Clam Chowder, and Farm Fresh Tomato Salad was the best I have ever eaten. My husband loved these as well! I also had their spicy tuna, and avocado hand rolls which were delicious and unique. We had other bigger meals we loved too! The two male servers were two of the nicest men I have ever spoken with, and knowledgeable about food, drink, and skiing Mansfield which was so Stowe appropriate! Our waiter was Pablo. He provided excellent service. Always available when needed but not overwhelming. Polite courteous and very professional. Excellent suggestions and knowledge of the menu.
Food was excellent! However, the drinks were a bit shocking in price. We ordered classic cocktails that weren’t on the menu but assumed they’d be very close in price to the featured ones. We were wrong! The non-alcohol beer was even more in price than the regular beer. The beverages were a bit overpriced for what they were. Still standing by the food was excellent and if you don’t want to pay resort parking, we parked in the back for free.

The hand rolls were itty bitty, and portions are small. There are issues with service, including slow and forgetful staff, as well as seating management. Some bartenders, like Carl, are attentive, while others ignore guests. The restaurant is not very accommodating for gluten-friendly or dairy-free diets, and allergen labels are missing. The decor is gorgeous, and it’s a nice place to relax after skiing or snowboarding, though drinks and extras like the surprise $20 birthday plate are overpriced. They offer tasty wine options, including Bordeaux by the glass, with sustainability nods. Recently, the restaurant experienced staffing problems that affected service, causing long waits and difficulty in ordering, with some utensils and silverware running out. Despite these issues, the food was prepared very well and was flavorful, and the staff that attended tables was prompt and timed everything perfectly. The restaurant, being part of a resort hotel, has prices that reflect that environment but remains a worthwhile visit. It’s an elegant place to dine after a day on the slopes, offering a cozy atmosphere and tasty seafood options.
