We stayed at the Butler house Inn and came downstairs for breakfast twice. Tried other establishments in the Stowe downtown and nothing else came even close! The food was amazing (highly recommend the eggs Benedict and get the homemade biscuits and maple sausage with your meal even if you need to do it as a side). It’s the best sausage I’ve ever eaten, no hyperbole! If you stay at the Inn, don’t forget to tell them because you get a 20% discount on breakfast

This place is amazing. I think about the maple sausage all the time - at this point I am not sure if anything will ever compare! If you are anywhere near Stowe, you need to eat here!

We had an amazing experience at The Butler’s Pantry! The food was absolutely incredible — hands down some of the best breakfast we’ve had, and they truly have the best maple syrup around.
A huge shoutout to George at the breakfast bar — he was awesome! Super funny, welcoming, and full of great energy. He really went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of, and his personality made the entire experience even better.
Everything from the food to the service was top-notch. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend The Butler’s Pantry 10/10 to anyone visiting the area.

Love the spinach salad with warm vinaigrette, feta and bacon. And the Eggs Benedict! Lots of terrific options including perfectly poached eggs, too. Always a wait to get seated but worth it! And outside porch seating, in the warmer months.

Went first December 2019 on my honeymoon, then December 2024 on our 5th anniversary with our now 2 little boys.. got the exact same breakfast as the first time, sat at the same table too... Just as welcoming and incredible as it was on our first visit. What a magical town and this restaurant is the best in it. Cannot wait for our next anniversary trek to Stowe and Butler's Pantry!!!!

Like others, this was one of the best breakfasts we've had in a long time, and personally the best eggs benedict I have ever eaten.
Side note: We did the Yelp reserve ahead, and were given two seats at the bar. If you're wanting your own table, be aware that might not happen by default unless you contact them/ask ahead of time. With that being said, boy was the bar fun (more below)!
Our server/bartender was hilarious and super attentive. He joked with us back and forth and took care of us the whole way through. He recommended our meals and was spot on.
I got the eggs benedict as recommended, skipped the tomatoes for a Florentine style dish, and every part of the dish was made with so much intention. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon with rich color but not overdone, and the spinach done delicately and with plenty of flavor. It was served on a slice of biscuit toast, crispy but cuttable.
My wife got some incredible French toast along with a housemade sausage, which had the sweetness you'd expect from a syrup capital of the world, yet not overpowering.
We hope to come back some day and try the dinner. If dinner is prepared with as much detail as breakfast, we have to believe it would be spectacular. Thanks, Butler's Pantry!

One of the best breakfasts we've ever had. Small menu with quality items. I'd eat here every day if I could.
