Friendly service, Incredible views!
The soup could have been hot, but it was only warm.
The hot citer hit the spot after riding all day.

The Cliff House was a wonderful addition to our family’s first visit at Stowe. With part of our group lazing around the lodge and the rest snowboarding, the gondola ride & lunch was a perfect meet-up. We had reservations, but arrived early and the manager readily offered a choice of tables. After reading reviews prior to our visit, we’d almost cancelled and were going to only ride the gondola. Glad we didn’t! The food arrived quickly and was excellent (chicken tenders were kid approved w/ mid rating). We were sure to compliment the manager that her staff provided the best service of any this week at Spruce Creek. While the prices are in line with other restaurants on property, the Cliff House team stands out with their professional mannerism and attentiveness to patrons.

Amazing spot that was a true winter wonderland when we went. The food is pricey but you are at the end of the day at the top of a mountain eating. We. Went here before during the fall and the views were amazing.

We came here during fall peak weekend. We took the gondola up and we were aware the bar/restaurant is PACKED. However, if you are patient you can walk up to the bar and order a drink to go on the patio which is what we did. We had delicious drinks and enjoyed our time checking out the foliage.

Beautiful spot to have a quick meal and enjoy the view. Thank you to the hostess for seating us near that big window on the back side -- amazing view of the rock face and I enjoyed my time with my husband here. Our server was very attentive and our food was good. Had the clam chowder and some hot tea -- loved it. I thought the prices were decent -- was what I expected -- the food too.

You’ll need to book a table in advance to dine at the Cliff House Restaurant, as it tends to fill up quickly.

I recently ate at the Cliff House restaurant, and while the view overlooking the mountains was absolutely breathtaking, the overall experience left me disappointed. The food was just okay — definitely not the highest quality, especially for the prices.
The biggest issue, though, was with the tip. I left a cash tip on the table, but later discovered that an additional tip had been added to my credit card as well. That’s unacceptable and left a very bad impression.
If you’re going just for the view, it’s worth stopping by once, but be very cautious when paying — especially if you plan to leave cash for your server.

Patio is pet friendly however due to the weather the patio was not open. They allowed us to get a drink and sit out on the patio. I imagine the food is very good. As the drinks were good.

Food = horrible. Even the burger is just a frozen one. I realized I was in trouble when they didn’t ask how I wanted it cooked. I know you don’t go for food but they could try and be nicer for a $100 lift ticket + $70 disgusting meal.
Anyways. Nice views. Just be aware of what you are getting into.

This is a beautiful location & convenient spot to grab a bite if you are coming up the gondola! However, the food is probably a 2 or 3/5. The burger & fries is essentially $30 but is football concession quality unfortunately. It’s a fine burger, but the price is for convenience & location, not the taste. You’re better off grabbing lunch in town & then grabbing a hot cocoa at the top of the ski ride instead! 😃 The mac & cheese is pretty good; the main taste is butter & Parmesan. It’s a fine mac but nothing to call home about either. This place is just okay! :)

It took us a comedic number of errors to get to this restaurant, but we got here!! Melissa was so kind at the front and offered to talk to her manager when we were running late. Her manager Mily agreed to sit us when we had some hypoglycemic people who needed some food! Both provided star stellar service. It is because of their kindness I will be back at this restaurant. 🙂

We had reservations, yet didn’t get a spot by a window. That’s ok- Ordered a burger/fries, and Clam chowder. None of it was warm. Room temp upon receipt. I actually asked for fresh fries and struggled thru the rest. Server was nice, but when the manager came by and asked how everything was, I let her know none of it was hot. Her reply, “I will let them know.” Enjoyed the scenery - but definitely wouldn’t eat there again.
