Outdated bathroom and changing area, too cold swimming pool and dilapidated wooden walls around the hot tub. This place needs some updating.
Good chili at an insane price. What can you do, though, at a ski resort. The chili is found in the cafeteria-like area, not the sit down restaurant. You can't use the 20% epic food discount at the sit down resto, by the way. Lots of cubbies and storage space to place backpacks, shoes, etc. More places to hang things and picnic tables at lower level. Very convenient. As one would expect it gets absurdly crowded between 11-1, so expect to have to hover for a place to sit.
Stopped in for lunch before the Eclipse. Great pizza and wings. Friendly staff.

Midway Lodge is a great stop for fries and beer, with direct bar drink orders and delicious flatbreads. The Chicken Pesto Pasta and Buffalo Wings are amazing, and the staff is sweet. Despite high prices, the lodge's condition hasn't changed in 20 years. A much better vibe than other bars at the base.
