This is a great little bar on the Main Street in Stowe - super friendly, attentive staff and great selection of draft beers. They have a small but decent food menu, and it's a great place to watch a game, relax after a day of exploring or people watch from the patio.

Great little bar (but not too little) with surprisingly good food! Came here for a cider and ended up having lunch. Try the tacos or nachos with chicken. So tasty! Service was friendly and efficient. Bonus: the sample cups for trying what’s on tap are tiny beer mugs. ?

I passed this place for a week before I decided to go in. I was pleasantly surprised that it is bigger on the inside than it appears from the street. The bartender was absolutely phenomenal. I went with Tito’s, 7 up, Lime and the pretzel bites. I highly recommend stopping in.

We came to Lower Bar both nights of our stay in Stowe. The atmosphere was extremely laid back and a good vibe. The bartenders (one was the owner) were friendly, knowledgeable, and overall great at their job! We had tacos the second night that were absolutely delicious and wish we would have had food the previous night. Definitely recommend!
