Hard to rate atmosphere - I love a hole in the wall place - poked my head into this small take out spot and a visitor inside insisted it was so good I had to try. My husband not usually as big a fan of Indian cuisine as I am, but devoured his share of our meal. ABSOLUTELY delicious - we just had veggie samosas and honey chicken apps and more than enough for lunch for 2 - very much look forward to going back!

The thuppa was out of the world. Super delicious and loaded with veggies. If you’re craving something healthy and soupy maggi like, get this. Their wraps were good too. Only downside is that it’s only takeout so you can’t take it on a fly

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious and full of flavor, definitely one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. The front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making sure we were comfortable from the moment we walked in. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for both great taste and excellent service!"

We thoroughly enjoyed eating their delicious food today; the weather was cold and it was raining, and the line was too long. Note, there is no place to sit and eat, but you will enjoy their spicy and hot Indian food in the middle of Vermont. Thank you!

I recently ordered chicken momos and chicken hakka noodles from Raja restaurant, and I was quite impressed with the quality. The momos were perfectly steamed. The chicken hakka noodles were equally good—cooked just right with the perfect balance of spices, vegetables, and tender pieces of chicken. I highly recommend giving this place a try for a tasty, satisfying meal!

Not great taste. We ordered Veg Biryani, Cauliflower 65, Veg Pakora and Mango lassi. Cauliflower had too much color and no taste while the Biryani had just dry masala but no taste. The pakora was the slightly better and Mango lassi was probably the best of everything. The location is very convenient however I will recommend trying other Veg places and try Indian in Burlington.

Do try their Veg Chowmein! I have specially asked for it be spicy and it was yum..it just took me back to India! Also, the best part is that they have separate utensils for veg and non veg. So, if you are a pure vegetarian and spciy food lover like me ...give it a try when you are in Stowe?

Raja is a simple take-out spot. I tried the Veg Momo, but they were just average. The flavor was quite bland and lacked the punch you would expect from good momo. Not something I would go back for.

Be warned it is take out only but it is way better tasting than what you may expect from a small operation like this. Great food, and due to small staff at the time of our visit it took a while but was well worth the wait. Rivals food of similar styles from bigger cities as far as taste and quality!

Meh, the food was okay. I ordered a chicken curry and naan, the chicken was pretty tough and the naan was just kind of like buttery toast, not the naan I was used it. I might try it again, but I am probably not going running back.

I actually think the food taste fresh. I have ordered Tilka Masala and Butter Chicken. I wouldn’t say it’s authentic Indian but they did not advertise themselves that way. Pretty decent food for Central Vermont.

Got the malai kofta (my fav veg meal) and lamb curry. Both were so so so good! And the garlic naan was delicious. This is the best Indian food I’ve found since moving to Vermont.

Great find for delicious Indian food in Stowe, Vermont. Malai Kofta, Jhol Pork Momo, and Aloo Kulcha were all delicious. Would happily come back the next time I'm in Stowe.

This hits the spot if you are craving Indian take out. The cauliflower app and chana masala are AMAZING. Picnic tables down the hill by the bike trail if you want to eat nearby!

This place does not have a dine in. I got frustrated waiting for the food and mosquitoes were having their dinner from my blood. Once we tasted the food, mu frustration went away. Incredible food prepared with love.
