This is a must try spot in the heart of stowe. All the food i bought tonight was amazing, the crispy honey chicken is addicting. The curry is perfect, and the mango lasse is the perfect way to wash it all down. Thanks for all the hard work, we will be regulars here.

This is not a place to eat in but take out. There is very less space to eat.However, food was great and the staff was courteous. My partner is Hyderbadi and loves Biriyani. He recommends the Biriyani here. I had the vegetarian momos and they were really good as well.

Was not expecting to est good indian food at stowe. Was skeptical, since they also offered chow mein. But was pleasantly surprised. One big plus is the food is actually spicy as opposed to "spicy".No frills hole in the wall. But if you want good food come here.

Being of Indian descent, I am very particular with restaurant Indian food and am pretty skeptical about how much I would like it in more remote places around the world. (Best I have ever had was in Cairns, Australia and worse was in Niseko, Japan if you are curious to know). This is all based on personal preference and taste, of course - I like my Indian food more spicy, less sweet. So when I came across Raja and read the polarizing reviews, it was the only time I can recall that I was on the fence about trying it so I started off with momos only one night and seeing how good those were, I went for the chicken biryani the next day. Both were spectacular and really hit the spot after a long day on the slopes.Please try it if you feel that you may have a palate similar to mine, but do be sure to try it on a night where you have a bit of cushion with time since it does seem like they may be struggling with operations. I really hope they get some help in that area because it is the only thing affecting their patronage. Otherwise food is A+!

Raja is primarily a to-go restaurant - order ahead online and pick up. Everything is made fresh to order, spice levels can be chosen per entree and when you pick spicy they make it SPICY!! Can't wait to keep trying something new each time. So far the cheese naan and the butter chicken were *chef's kiss* perfect for a cold winter night! Fair prices for the amount of food. Order extra - makes great leftovers the next day too!Vegetarian options: Options available for any dietary restriction or preferenceParking: The parking area is tight and the front door is somewhat hidden by the store next door.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible but somewhat cramped interior for pick up/ dining. Could be difficult to maneuver. Front door is very heavy.
Our dinner was delicious! This is a do-not-miss place in Stowe! We got takeout- be warned, their entrance is hard to find (you need to walk along the driveway to the back of the building), but it is well worth it. Take out was delicious. Been thinking about it eve since - I can’t wait to eat here again!

Theirs is a unique take on Indian food - it's the dishes you know but with a slightly different and super yummy flavor profile, making you feel like it's actually home-made and deliberately created. Lots of veg options and customizable spice levels.To answer all the complainers down below, yes, during leaf peeping season it may take a while - plan ahead - but normally it doesn't take any longer than regular takeout.
