The best part about The Roost, is the atmosphere. The restaurant is beautiful, but unfortunately, the food fell short. The prices are ridiculous for the quality of food, the menu is trying to be high-end dining, but the food is not nearly as good as it should be. The portions are not good either. I would suggest going off the resort for food.
Went on a quiet night for a chill dinner for 2. Got wings and 2 burgers. Food was exceptionally tasty, one burger had a significant amount of dirt on the lettuce. Service and atmosphere were very laid back for such a quiet night which is what we were looking for. I would go back but would avoid anything salad based or uncooked. They have a great gluten free options menu and I felt they do go the extra mile for dietary restrictions.
My mother and I came here from different lodging because it was still open. Christian was our server and did excellent and was very accommodating. All staff were helpful. Based on unwarranted reviews, we weren’t expecting much but the food was so good it blew our minds. We’re not sure how this only has 3.9 stars!!!
