Tipsy Trout offers delicious seafood, with standout dishes including seafood pasta, hot lobster roll, crab cake sliders, and scallops. The trout was piquant perfection, and the scallops were equally delicious. The restaurant has a cozy bar atmosphere and serves great cocktails, though the $25 martinis were much smaller than typical. The hand rolls were itty bitty, and portions are small. There are issues with service, including slow and forgetful staff, as well as seating management. Some bartenders, like Carl, are attentive, while others ignore guests. The restaurant is not very accommodating for gluten-friendly or dairy-free diets, and allergen labels are missing. The decor is gorgeous, and it’s a nice place to relax after skiing or snowboarding, though drinks and extras like the surprise $20 birthday plate are overpriced. They offer tasty wine options, including Bordeaux by the glass, with sustainability nods.
