I've lived in some of the biggest cities in the world, and this place is comparable to any major Asian restaurant you'd find in New York or Los Angeles!! So savory, well-prepared, and authentic. My heart goes out to the two guys who seem to be working there without much help. Praying they stick around for many years to come, because Umami is one of the best low-key gems in Stowe. Do yourself a favor and try the "pig fried rice".....heavenly!

Really good spot. Got the tofu and pork bao super delicious definitely the favorites. Thai rice and vegan pad thai were good the vegan pad Thai could have been a little more flavorful that being said I would still get it again . Everything was very fresh.

GF options were a plus! Admiral chicken was delish, and the broccoli served with it was perfectly al dente. Seared mixed vegetables were not edible due to the overwhelming burned smoke flavor.

Wowwwww. Stumbled on this gem while looking for takeout options in Stowe and wow. Everything was incredible. We got the spicy chicken dumplings, bao buns, Dan Dan noodles, and the Korean fried chicken. Everything was over the top good! Some of the best Asian food I've ever had. Would 100% order again and it is definitely worth the price and hype.

Oh boy... Where do I start... My kids spit the food in the trash, and they Love Chinese food. The spring role was awful. The pad Thai tasted like a bowl of vinegar noodles. The only thing that was good was a fried dish named admiral Steven which was like general Tsao. Low Mein was apparently just OK. They did at least eat some before asking me to never order from this place again. Sorry .. I try not to leave bad reviews but this was necessary!

Food was delicious, though a bit pricey. No masks in sight. Our biggest issue was with the online ordering system/lack of customer service. We ordered online at 5:20, and order was supposed to be ready at 5:45. We showed at 5:45 and were told it would be another hour because they just received the order a few minutes prior; unclear if anyone was going to call us. We returned after an hour and we're told the food would be ready in yet another 30 minutes. No one ever said "sorry for the wait" or anything of the sort, and they certainly didn't comp any of the dishes. I'd recommend the food, but definitely call to order, and maybe call again before leaving home (or hotel, etc.) to confirm that it's actually ready. Food was great, but maybe not worth the hour and 55 minute wait.

Got one of their designated GF dishes on their GF menu on our first night in Stowe, and definitely got glutened. Not nice. It wasn't minor either so I'm guessing soy sauce or maybe the rice noodles are a blend but it was the first time eating all day, and my husband ate it also and was fine so it wasn't food poisoning. Three stars because the food was good and my husband said the pork fried rice was the best he's ever had. If you have a gluten allergy I wouldn't trust the GF menu.

Takeout orders only- perfect for us! We're visiting from Gaithersburg, Maryland where we have plenty of great Asian restaurants and grocery store nearby. Located across Butlers breakfast Restaurant. Pleasantly surprised by delicious Asian dishes offered at the tiny restaurant! They nailed the Thai flavors in basil beef dish! Love how they incorporated in all the critical asian veggies in the dish, and the sauce!!! Ordering tips: Download or view the menu and call to order. UX isn't that great on the mobile app and they might miss your order.

The food was amazing! We got the chicken dumplings, pork belly buns and admiral Steve’s chicken and it was all so excellent!! The chicken dumplings were outrageously packed with flavor and the pork belly melted in our mouths. Highly recommend Umami!

Solid 4 star. We ordered the tasting menu and requested spicy. They brought the heat! KFC, Pad Thai, dumplings. fried rice and more. Waaay more food than 2 can eat. Would of liked some soy sauce or dipping sauces for the small plates. Check em out!

No wings even it’s on the menu!Tuna poke looks nothing like poke. Just pieces of tuna with cut up veggies. Any poke comes on the bed or rice or greens ! On the menu listed that coming with crispy fried rice which was missing from the “poke”. The guy has no idea that it should come with rice. Told me they have been serving without rice and they don’t even carry fried rice.Order of pork wontons was very small for $15 and extremely fried.Very disappointed with $60 take out order.
