I’ve been coming to Bar802 for 3 years now. This era of Bar802 is by far the best. You have the best girl gang staff you could ever want. The food is INCREDIBLE. We got the Smashburger Fry Pile and I’m going to be dreaming about it every night until I can eat it again. Bar802 is the best on Stratton and in all of Southern VT! 🫶🏻

Ate here during a visit in September 2025. It was too cold for outdoor seating but inside was quaint. Not suitable for larger parties due to size but there were a few tables of 6 present. Prices are common for mountain dining so it was expensive but the food was delicious. My husband had the burger which he thought was phenomenal. I had the cajun chicken sandwich which was flawless. We got the wings (which were sauced chicken tenders but very tasty) and pretzel bites with qeuso. Food was great, service was great and it was a positive experience.

Chef is a master of Latin cooking techniques. Pork tacos were full of flavor, pork was crispy outside and fall apart tender inside. Cauliflower appetizer was flash fried, not battered - so good. The gin cocktails were unique and perfectly balanced. Friendly service too. Such a good experience!

We arrived on a Saturday night around 8:00 with a group of seven and luckily they had a table available for us immediately. The drinks were great, service was excellent and the food was outstanding. My son and I had brisket tacos with au jus on the side which is one of their specialties. It was better than I can describe, one of the best meals I have had anywhere. Highly recommend.
Visited Stratton for Oktoberfest ‘24. Patronized Bar802 3x’s during the long weekend. Each time the restaurant was jammed; but the Food & Team were AWESOME! Remarkable how the Team just rocked the crowd! Food was GREAT all three times & the Staff was super friendly each time! Nice time!

The food, the Drinks, the music and the atmosphere were absolutely perfect. My husband and my best friend brought me on a weekend to Stratton Village to relax and you made our night. I think it was the owner at the bar and the waitress were so incredibly kind and wonderful that I wish we lived closer, Id go all the time.
