The service was awful. The server didn't even greet us for 10 minutes. When my daughter spilled her drink, no staff member came over to assist us. The kids pasta had butter and sauce which was not really edible.

Food is gross both in texture and taste. Not to mention horrendously overpriced (charging $28 for a burger is criminal). Totally taking advantage of the fact there's limited dining on the mountain. The staff were friendly, that's the only positive.

We had 2 great nights at Fire Tower. Great food - particularly for a restaurant right on the ski mountain (Stratton). Our server Carnell was FANTASTIC - efficient, knowledgeable and super friendly.

Overpriced for mediocre food.Limited options in the village, which makes this still a hot restaurant. Used to like this restaurant but now it's only an option because of the location.

Been dining in New York city for 15 years but had to come to Stratton to experience one of the most unpleasant hostesses around. Oh well! Server was very responsive and food was good. However, hostess was the worst to us and others before us. Too bad.

I was a bit hesitant after reading some the bad reviews. However our experience was the opposite. We made reservations several weeks ahead of time, and were seated immediately. Service was excellent, food was very fresh and had excellent flavor. NYC prices for sure, it wasn't a bargain, but I wouldn't hesitate to dine here again.

Let me start by saying this i have been going to stratton for ten years plus the same weekend In February. Food is going down hill. My vevtabales were under cooked the lamb shank was dry with a terrible demi glaze . I had party 5 out of the five 2 order the bugars which were almost 30 each was probably the thing on menu that was good. The fire tower is expensive. They might want to rethink there menu and just wings and bugars. The rest sucks or just not worth price and size. The only good thing I can say is the hostess was nice and friendly. The wait staff not friendly rude and couldn't be bother to check if the food came out correctly . Stratton has gone from thats expensive to bend over and take it and shut up!!!!!!

Never disappointing. The food was great. Staff always professional and friendly even on a busy night. Not inexpensive but to be expected at a ski resort Wine and cocktails never disappoint

Reserved during a 3 day ski holiday. Was expecting an exceptional experience as it was supposed to be best place for dinner on the mountain. Was OK. You are a captive so Prices were high. 40$ for a lasagna that was mediocre at best. No bread offered. With a reservation Was seated in the porcupine room adjacent to the bar. Very noisy. Service was great. But just OK experience overall given food and ambience. Stratton needs a few more places nearby not controlled by the resort

Located right in the village at Stratton Mountain, Fire Tower Restaurant & Tavern was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere, service, menu and cuisine was to die for. The grilled trout was amazing. Highly recommend getting reservations. Will definitely be back!

Nice approach from the outside that draws you in. Ambiance upon entering. Pretty good. Then you sit down and the menu opens. And everything takes a dive. Myself and my family are really big on eating out. The menu has very limited selection and really nothing to offer. We ordered the “lump crab meat and gnocchi”. Joke. $38 for $3 gnocchi and finely shredded crab meat. If that is what it was, (tasted like S*#T). NO LUMP, in a “wine sauce” which was like white water. My son had the smash burger. Basically a greasy Burger King pattie for $29 and some Mckain French fries. If that wasn’t enough. My wife who doesn’t drink ordered a seltzer with lemon. NEVER have iv been charged for seltzer. They charged me as soda for $4.All said and done. With no app and no desert. We got a $186.72 bill before tip and cause they added 2.7% for cc for 3 gnocchi dishes, a burger, and 2 beers. Never will I step foot in the place again. As a kicker. Upon walking out, the hostess said. Thank you. Come again. My response? THANKS FOR NOTHING, as my 14 yr old son. Giggled as we strolled out. Choose wisely.

I have been going to fire tower ever year for 10 plus years on the same weekend every year. The food was absolutely horrible this year . The broccoli was under cooked. The Osco boco lamb was dry and demi glaze was disgusting. The Polenta cake was bland. I told waiter it was not good . She did not seem to care . The bill was expensive for horrible food and service. I did find out the chef that was there in years past is no longer there. Probably won't return. Its ashame I think was a very nice. Hope they figure it out before its to late

We decided to go to Fire Tower, as it presented itself as the premier restaurant in Stratton. Upon entering for date night, we were placed at a small table next to the waitstaff station. There were plenty of nice tables open near the window. Upon asking for a move, I feel the hostess begrudgingly acquiesced, but she did not engage when I thanked her. Wait staff seemed very casual in their manner, and food runner would consistently reach across members of our party to deliver food, instead of working around the table. If I were at Applebee's, none of this would be an issue, however when you position yourself as a premier establishment, and charge the prices that they were, expectations change. The food was higher quality and very good. I believe the food deserves a better effort from the front of the house. At those prices, you expect a certain level of value across the whole experience.

Sorry to say the dinner was so disappointing. I had the lasagna and it was not very tasty. The wine was good. My friends had the flatbread and the chicken was not good. Ugh! We have loved this inventive place in past years.
