Amazing jerk chicken, pork, and most of all the homemade hot sauce which is the most magical compliment. I bought a bottle of this hot sauce and will probably need to buy more next time I go to get some food. It’s got the heat and fruitiness for sure.
We tried the jerk chicken, oxtail, curry chicken and festival. Everything was so beautifully cooked, well seasoned, and colourful. Thank you Castel for making my mom’s birthday meal!! She loved every bite. Some of the best take out I’ve had in this area in ages!!
I'd passed by several days this week, and decided tonight was time to show support for Vergennes' newest restaurant. I'm incredibly glad I did. The Curry Goat with Rice&Beans and Cabbage did not disappoint! I know the Jerk Chicken would have been just as great.
I'm in town every few months, and I'll be returning to Castel's for sure.
