Authentic Vermont ice cream stand serving generous portions of really good ice cream at really good prices. I had strawberry cheesecake and southern peach. Both had lots of real fruit and there was a nice amount of tasty crust (real graham crackers) in the strawberry cheesecake. My wife had wild blueberry and it was delicious. The ice cream itself tasted and had the texture of real home made. We are so glad we stopped!

It’s the best place in the state. Hands down. Rodney is a saint and the staff are just as sweet. I can’t recommend Olsen’s enough. The creemees DON’T MELT!

As I was in line at 7:25PM (35 min before closing) they put the we’re closed sign up and said they couldn’t serve creemees after seeing me wait in line for over 5 minutes before making the announcement.

I came to Vergennes from New Jersey for the eclipse and we stopped at Olsen’s ice cream while we waited for totality. They are easily one of my top 3 favorite ice cream shops. The maple creemee was absolute perfection, and they went above and beyond to accommodate my boyfriend’s tree nut allergy. We watched them sanitize the soft serve machine and even open a new package of sprinkles just for us to prevent any cross contamination. I would make the 6 hour drive from Jersey again just to come here!

We've been going here since I was a kid, my Grandma used to take me ages before it was Olsen's. The place that was there before went out yesrs ago and plenty have tried re-opening it but no one was successful except for Olsen's! I'm so happy and thankful to him for keeping this place going! He's & his staff are always so kind, happy, and polite, the ice cream is great! They've really given this place the TLC it deserves, The local school kids even got to decorate it a bit and it's amazing seeing it so well loved. I honestly cannot reccomend it enough.
