Pretty and nice hostess and waitress. Cozy tavern. Charming snow filled main street. Chicken schnitzel was very, very tasty. Cooked perfectly. Full glasses of wine. Strong margaritas. Highly recommend!
Park Squeeze is the definition of “fine.” Not great, not bad, just relentlessly, reliably mid—which, in Vergennes, is actually a selling point. The food is consistent, the prices won’t make you question your life choices, and if you need a quick, predictable bite without getting trapped in some hour-long ordeal, this is your spot.

My husband and I dined at Park Squeeze one evening during our short vacation in Vergennes in late October. We made reservations to dine there, and it was a good thing, as there is remarkably little seating at the restaurant. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was satisfying, although the venue was cramped and noisy and the main dining room was up a steep and narrow flight of stairs.
