Being local we have eaten here enough to know the place well. Food is great, staff is great, atmosphere is great but all is damaged by a ridiculous 90 minute wait for a table. Just take reservations already and end the negativity that surrounds an otherwise great experience.

4 stars reflect the fact that the food was delicious. However, the service knocks them down a star. Being made to order right when you walk in before being sat was a little odd. From there, it was unclear what the system was for ordering more or getting refills, so we walked back to the front to add to our tab. Various staff brought out the drinks and food we ordered, but there is no wait service. Therefore, when it came time to close out, we paid what we felt was a generous 15% tip for our group of 6. Not 5 seconds after closing out, the hostess commented under her breath to another staff member that we "only tipped 15". This was very unprofessional, and left us feeling very weird after what was otherwise a good dining experience.

LOVED this place! We ordered the Classic Vermont Sausage and the “special” brisket flatbread.2 halves was the perfect portion for two! Evolution salad was AMAZING! This place is legit! Must try!!!

Our go to eatery in Waitsfield area for over 15 years.The flatbread is fantastic, the barn so cozy, feel the warmth from the beehive oven! The grounds are wonderful.Usually we visit during ski season but this year we came for fall foliage. The farm was in full harvest mode and it was beautiful.
Flatbread was excellent! Kim was a great help and got us in the queue even though their online orders were full. Full of helpful information and pointed us to the gallery of local artists while we waited. Pete the cat kept us company during our gallery tour! The produce farm literally outside the front door was also a joy to walk through. Everything from pigs to giant sunflowers! Fire pits & fireplaces all over. Highly recommend!

surrounded by a large field for kids to play, covered tables, communal firepit, and art gallery …. lots to do while waiting. not a large list but good beer and wine selections. guesstimate wait time was accurate. ordered a flatbread and salad and got seated. the salad was quickly delivered. flatbread took awhile but it was a friday night. salad was really good and the flatbread was excellent. perfectly cooked bread, light sauce and tasty,nicely seasoned toppings. this restaurant lived up to the praise we heard from locals. would definitely repeat.
