To be fair it was pouring rain when we were here but you have to order from an outside menu and there was not a great selection

Just a little bakery in Waitsfield that was only doing their walk up window. Only outdoor seating overlooking the river and covered bridge. Quaint setting. Chai Tea Latte was average as was the chocolate chip cookie. The berry scones though were outstanding and worth the trip. The maple trees by the seating area were magnificent and seeing their bright red colors is worth the trip alone.

John and Sarina do an awesome job making delicious food and coffee (drinks) John is quite funny and handsome. Sarina is witty and strikingly beautiful. Together they make it a pleasure to visit, eat and drink in the beautiful Mad River Valley of Waitsfield Vermont. We highly recommend the Mocha Latte, Ice Coffee (with or with out ice) and the delicious baked goods and sandwiches. Don’t trust the bad reviews, they’re just impatient “outerstaters”. Life is slower here, enjoy it.

We stopped in here for breakfast on Sunday morning. The had a variety of sweet and savory options. I had an apple turnover that was quite good. My daughter had a veggie frittata. Everything was quite yummy.

We had excellent coffee and an amazing salad in this friendly spot in downtown Waitsfield. The desserts are great too, and not too sweet.

Great coffee, good for quick bite or “to go” food. Access to parking is from Rt 100- look for Sign. Stopped for a quick bite- breakfast options very good tho limited to panini type egg/cheese sandwich (w/ bacon as option) or veggie frittata. Both good size and filling. I couldn’t resist baked goods- All Looked wonderful. Raspberry crumb bar- delicious !! In summer this would be a nice spot right next to the river and bridge. My Latte was delicious.

Nice selection of lunch, dessert and coffee items. They have traditional sandwiches as well as some very healthy vegan, whole grain, and fish options.

I have eaten here for breakfast on many average to mediocre ski days with my daughter over the past few years as well as a few times during the summer. First, you should come for the food. They use great ingredients - without a doubt you can taste the excellent eggs in their frittata as well as their egg pop over and even in non-eggy items such as their pastries. The salty items I mentioned are among the best of their type I have ever had. Their pastries are extremely good and the "Nice bar" is whimsical and better than the original. I am not much of a coffee and chai person, but my experience with those and their hot chocolate has been outstanding. I really like their chai and it stands up to the best from artsy coffee shops in Boston. Finally, there are a few things about the Sweet Spot not related to food that makes it worth a visit. One is the location. In the summer, it is beautiful to just watch the Mad River outside while you eat. When you are indoors in the winter, there is art for sale from a local artist. I love the four or five artists they hace brought in over the years. And finally, no review would be complete without mentioning the nice and friendly people at the Sweet Spot and their great service. This is a gem in the Mad River Valley and not enough people know about it.

This is a cozy little shop that has a decent amount of seating for it's size. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the food is delicious! I believe everything is made with organic ingredients, so items are a tad pricey, but the cost, in my opinion, is well worth it. For example, cookies are $2 each, but they're just the right amount of chewy on the inside, crunchy on the outside, and they're as big as your face! This place has a good selection of sweets to satisfy your sweet tooth, or savory items for a delicious and filling breakfast or lunch. The coffee is fresh and they have many options so you can get it just the way you like it. They also have free WiFi! This was a gem of a find and I'll definitely be returning the next time I'm in the area.

Amazing! Great coffee! Bought a bunch of different pastries for a get together and they were a hit! I plan to go back even though I live a few hours away!

A "sweet spot" in the Mad River Valley. Came here after a half day of skiing to get a bit of work done. Vast selection of coffee, sandwiches, bowls, smoothies, cookies, treats, and other drinks. Nice seating, quick service, and quality, local ingredients. GF/DF/Vegan options are also available. Easy parking, friendly staff.

There is literally nothing that isn't awesome at this place. I am a local to the valley and come here whenever I need some awesome coffee and a good place to do some work. When people come in and wonder what is good, I want to pipe in with "EVERYTHING!" I'm a total baked good snob, and these guys have yet to disappoint. The menu is one of the more interesting in town, and everything is done with care and attention. The staff is friendly--though when it gets really hot and you have people coming in nonstop from the nearby swim hole, it might get a little slow. Deal with it, this is a small town people. Speaking of the swim hole, the outdoor space is exactly as promised, a totally sweet spot. They'll bring you your iced coffee or cocktail (or whatever) while you hang in the lovely back patio, with an arbor and floral gardens all around you. Watch the flowers evolve throughout the season and the local kids do some cliff jumping beneath the iconic Waitsfield covered bridge. Also, they make their own ice cream and it is delightful. The cocktails are fabulous. I don't know what I would do without this place.

So so so good! A must stop anytime I pass through this town. Delicious ice cream, strong coffee, unbelievably crafted baked treats are all here. The food is great too-something for everyone.

Do not miss this place! Amazing coffee and bakery items. They have a beautiful spot that once the weather warms up will be spectacular right on the water. Every pastry looked delicious, the brown butter snickerdoodle was the best. They also have lots of menu items that looked delicious too, we will be back!
