I loved the cinnamon scone and eggplant sandwich.

Vegetarian options: The eggplant sandwich was amazing!

Probably the best tomato soup and grilled cheese I’ve ever had, and my friend who is a chef said the same thing. YUMMY!! They were about to close so we were the only ones there. Ambience a bit lacking but more than made up for it with the quality of the food.

Stopped in for a sweet treat and the cookies blew me away! Amazing depth of flavor and great texture. We tried the chocolate espresso, ginger, and brown butter and enjoyed them all.

Really delicious! As others said, the lattes are perfect, and not too sweet at all! The food is great and there is a selection of sweets that live up to name. Recommend you stop here for breakfast or lunch.

My husband and I stopped here while we were exploring the area. I had a very delicious mocha and the employee that helped us gave us some great info about the area. It was snowing that day so we didn’t sit down but the area looked so fun with the lights and small-town vibes. Not a place to hang out in, as it’s outdoor seating only and you order at a window, but it’s perfect for enjoying the outdoors or walking around the area with a tasty beverage. :)

Great shortbread cookies, along with many tasty desserts, however I don't like giving my business to owners who are short, abrupt and just plain rude to customers. I'm not at all surprised that they are closing up shoppe. If you own a shoppe I don't understand the reason you would not treat customers the way that you would want to be treated.

Limited food options but what they had was delicious! The atmosphere was lovely on a bright early morning. Coffee was fuss free. The baked goods were absolutely delicious!

To be fair it was pouring rain when we were here but you have to order from an outside menu and there was not a great selection

The salad with the ginger coconut dressing is one of the best salads I’ve ever had, and the tomato bisque was equally impressive. The coffee was delicious, the setting was lovely, and the containers, etc. were compostable.

We were wandering around on our way toe Waitsfield when we stumbled on The Sweet Spot and were absolutely extatic but the result. It was rain (neither pouring nor drizzling) and we thought we would pop in for a quick bite and warm up...but unfortunately there is only window counter service. Regardless, we ordered a Golden Milk and Chai Latte (both good) as well as a Pop Tart...but this is no ordinary Kellogg's version. This puppy is home made awesomeness-goodness...deliciosso! So could I had another...and could easily have had 6 more. Very flakey puff pastry surrounding a filing (we had apple and another of strawberry) with a sugar glaze. You gotta try one. Enjoy!

Parking: There are a number of street spots as well as a lot facing the back of the building.

Best ice cream sandwich EVER, IMHO.The Sweet Spot offers traditional ice cream sandwiches in addition to those made with French macaroons. If you enjoy marzipan , you must try one. Also bring your patience and relax by the river while you wait. It is worth it.

Just a little bakery in Waitsfield that was only doing their walk up window. Only outdoor seating overlooking the river and covered bridge. Quaint setting. Chai Tea Latte was average as was the chocolate chip cookie. The berry scones though were outstanding and worth the trip. The maple trees by the seating area were magnificent and seeing their bright red colors is worth the trip alone.
