We have had Thai food at so many restaurants in major cities but I can’t recall one as good as Fit To Be Thai’d. The dishes are perfectly balanced combinations of vegetables, meats and noodles. The flavors are well blended and rich. The tofu is perfectly prepared. The staff very helpful and attentive. We will definitely be back.
The owner (wife, the husband and partner is American )is Thai and the food is as authentic as you can get. It is not the Americanized version some may be accustomed to. Do not expect large portions. Also be wary of the spice levels. I tend to stick to the middle of the range.
worst service ever had in US. Serving time is forever the appetizer comes after we finished the entree no one comes to take order and even dare to charge 15%for tips.
The portions are way way too small. The entrees are more like an appetizer size than a full meal. Very disappointing. Every other Thai place I have been to has reasonable portion sizes these are not acceptable. The kitchen is also pretty slow. The portion sizes are disappointingly small especially for the price charged. It some times has some live music which is nice but can get a little loud. Food is flavorful, staff is friendly and they usually have availability but there’s not much in the area.
All food is too salty
This place was okay—a bit expensive, and the flavors weren’t quite like traditional Thai food. I’d describe it as Americanized Thai. I ordered the pad see ew, but I wasn’t entirely a fan of their noodle choice; they seemed slightly undercooked. I prefer the thick, chewy noodles for pad see ew, and I found the sauce a bit too sweet for my taste. It might have just been an off night, so I’ll give it another try.
I thought this restaurant was fantastic. Their duck dish was some of the best I’ve had. Crispy skin, but the fat was still there and meat very tender/juicy. Ambiance was homey mountain vibes. They have very effective to-go cocktails. Generous portions that fill you up after a day on the mountain. Their spicy level 3 didn’t seem spicy at all as someone who eats a lot of spicy stuff .
First time dining here and for sure will not be the last. The food was out of this world! Ruthie was or waitress and she was outstanding. We got to enjoy some excellent live music and great drinks. The atmosphere is very cozy and you feel like part of the family. Highly recommend and will go again in a heartbeat. Thanks Bruce, Chef and staff, you made our night very special.
Ordered the pork pad Thai to go, and it was very tasty.
I like that it came in a cardboard container that made it easy to reheat and it's better for environment.
This place isn't easy to find if your GPS doesn't take you right to the doorstep. There is no signage that I saw from the road, and even after you drive down the giant dirt parking lot, the one sign that I found is barely readable when you're still in your car.
For $20, I was hoping the portion would be bigger, but it tasted delicious and the service upon pickup was friendly. It's the only Thai I've had in Vermont.
Parking: Giant dirty partially paved parking lot with minimal signage.

Food and service are excellent. The live music was interesting, it didn't fit the atmosphere of the type of food served, but it was well done.

Great Thai and a treat to have. Went with 5 out of 6 on their spicy/heat scale and was satisfied with it. Had all their apps and basil rice with chicken for meal. All was great
