Hostel Tevere has genuinely improved my snowboarding experience in the United States. I’m a recent immigrant, and finding as many skiing and riding friends as I had back home was a challenge. At Hostel Tevere, you can sit by the coziest fireplace in the world and chat with strangers who share your interests while the fire dries your boots. Everything is perfect at this hostel — the location, the people, the restaurant, the bar, the beds, and the morning coffee. Thank you, Ryan! I loved watching how you run the place. For those who don’t know, Ryan is the owner and a skier. I’m an adult with grown‑up kids and thought my hostel‑staying days were long gone. Happy to admit I was wrong. Hostel Tevere allowed me to afford more snowboarding days this season than I ever thought I would have.
Great spot to ski with friends. Room rates are cheap. It's a true hostel so lots of people in one space and people are always walking around. Earplugs are a must. Beds are very comfortable. Owner is very cool and social. Muffins are off the hook.
We had a great experience at Hostel Tevere. Our group of 4 got the Quebec Room which was size able and private. Towels were provided and the beds were very comfortable. Ryan, the host, was very accommodating and friendly. Blueberry muffins and coffee were provided in the morning as well as a fridge to store things for all guests. We found the place very cozy, affordable and would definitely recommend. Hope to be back!
Stayed for two quieter nights right before Christmas, only a few others there. The place was very cozy and clean. The owner Ryan was very welcoming and friendly. Awesome location and I had a great time.
Highly recommend. A great hostel. Location is ideal for skiing Sugarbush and Mad River Glen, host (Ryan) is warm and takes great care of his guests, and the accommodations are quite comfortable and very clean. Comfortable beds. Good WiFi. Great rates. Free coffee and muffins in the morning are a plus! My one suggestion would be to add lockers. Thanks, Ryan, for a great stay!
Great experience! Met nice people, including the owner, Ryan, who is super friendly
Convenient and affordable. I recommend if you are ok with hostels
There is a bar/restaurant in the same building too, which might come in handy
I've stayed at many hostels in North America. This one is great! Extra-standout showers. Great location in Mad River Valley.
The owner, Ryan, is a hoot. Lots of fun stories.
Restaurant is shockingly good (maybe even a bit too upscale).
Only downer - no sink or stovetop in the hostel kitchen.
A world class hostel nestled in the heart of the Green Mountains! Ryan, the owner, is a really nice guy and the rooms are nicely put together, very clean, and furnished comfortably. I was only in the area for one night and I'll definitely be back.
I had an amazing stay at Hostel Tevere! I stayed 5 nights for the Green Mountain Stage Race and it was a great deal. The owner, Ryan, was very friendly and welcoming. The rest of the staff was great as well. The location is awesome, being tucked in the valley 1.5 miles from Warren Village and close to many hiking trails, ski resorts, nice roads, Waitsfield, Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church, etc. The amenities were great with the beds being cozy and towels provided for the shower. The kitchen space was nice, with a fridge, a microwave, and plenty of utensils, dishes, and food containers provided for use by guests. As well as this, there were plenty of places to hang out with other guests and just relax, so it never felt crowded. Free muffins were also provided every morning and they were delicious. Also, the restaurant is very nice and has great meals for dinner. I had the Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese and loved it. If you are thinking about staying here, I would definitely recommend it. I’ll have to come back to stay here again one day.
I hiked the Appalachian trail and stayed in quite a few hostels but I never was treated like I was here. Everyone treated me so nice and the place was neat and clean the and his mother when out of there way to be as welcoming As possible. They run a restaurant as well and everything was cooked to perfection. The owner and his mom brought me to catch a bus and I can’t thank them enough. Trust me you will enjoy your stay!

I enjoyed my stay. Great location and not too crowded dorm. I came in the summer. I found that the air conditioning was a little loud, and the fans being on made it too noisy. I turned them down and would suggest u do that too.
Hidden gem. Amazing burger and good beer selection. Perfect place to stop after hitting Warren falls
When the manager goes above and beyond, you know everyone does. I'm so glad I discovered you.
Perfect hostel!! With an on-premise bar and restaurant, comfortable beds and amenities, and 5 minute drive to Sugarbush! I stayed one night recently, after skiing Killington and Sugarbush the next day. The owner Ryan is wonderful - accommodating and running an everything-you-need overnight stay. Highly recommended.
Amazing! I loved my stay so much I decided to extend. Best decision ever!
