We love Prohibition Pig. Best BBQ in Northern Vermont. Do not leave before you get the hush puppies. Super nice staff. Celia the bartender is great. Are only request is to add a veggie burger! ( but we guess it might off brand!)

Pro Pig is worth the visit! We had 8 in our group and ordered two "Buy the Farm" meals, see attached picture. The meal came with a couple bottles of bbq sauces and a vinegar bbq sauce. The food was excellent, the drinks were cold, and they had something on the menus for everyone. Great place to hang out!

I'm defensive about Pro Pig. It's been MY little post-hike or bike spot for many years. Some of the best beer in the country paired with a few warm fresh tacos prepared in front of you? Every day please. Rustic and unpretentious. Just straightforward great comfort food.

We sat and the bar and ordered dinner. Everything was delicious! ! We had the pork plate, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and duck fat fries. My daughter said it was bussin' - the ultimate teenage compliment. Our bartender/server provided excellent service.

Good spot in Waterbury. Some of the best smoked meat I have had. Brisket was on point and the pork was delicious. Get the Mac and Cheese. That shiz was the bomb! Cheddar was so velvety smooth. The staff was super nice and very friendly, they gave some great recommendations on what cheese to get while visiting the Cabot cheese shop. Two thumbs up from me!

One of my favorite places - staff could not be nicer and they have the most interesting, delicious food. Big fan of their double ipa - Bantam. Never the “same ol’ same ol’” and always worth the trip.
It was fine, nothing special and don't feel the need to go back. I was disappointed in the beers we had on tap. For a brewery in an area with such amazing beer offerings I expected a lot more from them.

The brewery was fantastic! The tacos are delicious and the platos was super tasty! The brisket tacos were on point and the vinegar based hot sauces make for a great complement. The carnitas tacos were tasty as well but that brisket taco... I want 2 more just writing this! Great service, great atmosphere. Definitely the place to go for lunch when you are in Stowe. Can't wait to try the restaurant for dinner next time I'm up at Stowe. I will wear my pig ? hat with pride!

A bbq joint with a brewery attached, sign me up. Even if you're not a beer snob, they have a full cocktail menu. Started out with the duck fat fries, remarkably salty... A fine salad if you're not up for the meat sweats. But if you are, dry rubbed wings and the half rack of ribs hits the spot. The beef brisket sandwich was sloppy, but oh so good.

We were staying in Waterbury and wanted to try something nearby. We decided to try Prohibition Pig (very strange name I must admit). The main reason I went to this place is because I saw they serve pork ribs and I wanted to try that for a change.The place was fairly busy during our visit but we were served quickly.For drinks, I tried their German beer (forgot the name) but it tasted great.I ordered half rack of ribs. It was just right for me even though I was hungry.My son ordered Poutine which was also delicious but the serving size was too much for him. He could not finish it and ended up packing the rest for take away.For great beer (and drinks) plus good food, this is highly recommended.
