I've been here 3 times. Once at the old location, once via the taco truck and finally at the new location. Their shifting hours and closed dates based on availability surrounding their catering schedule makes it difficult to rely on them being open when you're in the area. You'll often have to wait for a table and for the food to be served. The prices aren't bad for what you get and the service has always been good.
But the food.
The food is absolutely spectacular.
The nachos, quesadilla, drinks and complimentary popcorn are all excellent, but the tacos are outstanding. Truly worth any of the negatives you encounter, which is why you can't be surprised to find a line when you visit. It'll be a long few months until April when they open again and I'll be dreaming of their tacos until then.
Kid-friendliness: They have a decent kid friendly menu with more options than your basic stuff like a delicious sweet potato chickpea hash.

Trail Break did a KILLER job with our wedding. Our guests have continuously raved about the food throughout our wedding and in the days and weeks since. They will become the hot topic of conversation with your friends and family if you hire them! Everything was delicious, they were quick with food service and the line never got too long. All of the staff was professional, but also laid back and fun and it made for such a great atmosphere at our reception. Their catering menu has tons of options to customize your reception for any palate, and they have plenty of vegetarian and vegan options as well to suit anyone's dietary needs.
They were also great to work with during the planning and prep phases, drafting multiple quotes for us so we could get a sense for what was available to us. They're very accommodating with drink selections as well, allowing you to choose specifically what will be on tap at your wedding! We felt very confident hiring them for our wedding because of all the experience and expertise they brought to the planning process. They even helped us find our venue! That's not a service they provide, but they're just really nice people, and so great to work with.
We had such a blast with Trail Break, and could not more highly recommend them!!!

Stopped here for dinner as it was on the way back to ou bnb. The line was out the door and the atmosphere was chaotic. Not sure if they were short staffes but everything looked very unorganized and hectic. We got there around 6pm so they had only been open for 1.5 hrs but were out of several things on their menu. No salsa at all (our waitress said the person in charge of salsa no call/no showed that day, unsure how you rest the responsibility of something like salsa in a "taco" restaurant on one person). The servers were so busy running everywhere that we did not get checked in on other than to see if we were ready for our check. It was a very expensive trip for food that was very lackluster and much of it was left behind on my plate.

We booked Trail Break for our rehearsal dinner this past weekend and 100% would recommend! Everything went smoothly, was on time and very delicious. All the guests were super happy with the food options and we even got to keep leftovers after dinner. (great late night munchie snack) Trail Break also provided all paper dinnerware products (utensils, plates, dishes etc) so we didn't have to rent more dinnerware which was greatly appreciated. Communication was easy and enjoyable :)

Trail Break catered my wedding (~110 guests), and they did an incredible job. First, as a general note, having a food truck cater a big event is a great hack because it solves so many problems. Trail Break provided food, dishware, cutlery, and drinks, and people were happy to wait in line to put their order in as opposed to having their meal delivered by a wait staff. It made for a fun event. Tacos are also a convenient food for dealing with dietary restrictions - Trail Break was very happy to work with us on this. Also, all tacos were made to order, so it was easy for guests to adjust any of the menu items as needed to fit their dietary needs. As for working with Trail Break and their service at our event, Topher and his team couldn't have done a better job. Topher did a great job working with us on the food & drink menus and figuring out logistics. The team on site for our event was very professional and did a great job managing food and drink orders all night. We heard nothing but great feedback from our guests. People loved the food and mixed drinks. I would without a doubt work with Trail Break again for a catered event, and anytime I am in the White River Junction area, I will be stopping by.

We cannot recommend Trail Break enough for catering your wedding. We had a wedding of about 205 people and everyone we spoke to said how much they enjoyed the food and drinks, particularly all the tacos, the quesadillas, watermelon, and watermelon margaritas. They were also so accommodating to our specific drink needs like our signature drinks, and were willing to work with us to make our vision come to life. Topher and his team were also great at communicating through our whole process, and on the day of, showed up big time. In the world of crazy expensive catering options, Trail Break allowed us to serve delicious food and drink options without breaking the bank. Would recommend them to anyone getting married!

Sabrina and her team at Trailbreak were very communicative in the planning stages with a fast response time for any questions related to allergies, preferences on dishes, etc. The food was great, and exactly what we were looking for. We had some concerns about getting the food truck over a bridge on our property, but Trailbreak went the extra mile to ensure that all the dishes requiring heavier frying equipment made it to the venue.
