As a former regular, I was excited to visit C&S for the first time under new man. It was July 5th, 2925. The dom of a lead waitress was an absolute horror show. She refused to serve me as simple to go order and it wasn't posted anywhere. The only sign I saw was to go orders over $40 had to be called in. I've never seen a more ill-suited personality for work in hospitality, much less work a floor.
She balled me out, humiliated me in front of the patrons, and even turned away a party that waited 30 min.
Very cute little diner. Has a table that wraps around entire restaurant. Very good food for breakfast or lunch.
Don’t go here if you have young children you will be judged and the wait staff will talk about you. They will also rush you out. Wait staff was very rude to my children, we were on the road for Atleast 8 hours and it was our lunch stop so of course my children are going to have the wiggles and a 2 year old who doesn’t want to sit still.
Great food, fast service, limited seating and can be busy
Circular counter seating in this old school restaurant. Friends and I stopped in for breakfast. The staff was friendly and accommodating for our large group. Food was served quickly with smiles and delicious. Highly recommend!!
Nice Vermont dinner, the setting booths are fun
Love love love this place. Great food great people. They even sneak in your pictures lol!!!!!!
Accoustic Grateful Dead and Jerry are the background tunes. What's not to like?
Loved this place. Great food and great atmosphere. I had the blueberry pancakes, which were loaded with blueberries. Delicious! Service was really friendly and this is a place loved by locals and visitors alike.

Pretty much the best old school diner in the country. It's where the locals eat. Pancakes are amazing. Sausage and gravy is the best, the homemade biscuits are to die for. It feels like you walked back in to the 1970s. Just the best if you are a greasy spoon, country, home cooking diner.

Looking for some breakfast when coming back from a friend's place in VT and stumbled on this place. What a find! Great food, friendly staff and even the customers were great. I love a country fried steak and this was one of the best I ever had. We will definitely be stopping here next visit to VT.

I’ve been coming here since I was a baby and it is my favorite breakfast place on the planet!
Had a great breakfast this morning! The omelets were huge and tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. It’s such a cute vintage vibe with only counter service. This was such a great find this weekend!
