The owner was our server, and he was extremelly friendly. The restaurant is decorated in an electic array of art and memorabilia... this I found very interesting and thought it resembled the 60's/70's. My son and I split the fish and chips and the reuben. Both were very delicious. The chef was a very nice woman who made our meals fresh. She was also very friendly. We will most likely be visiting here again before we make the trip home from our springbreak. I would HIGHLY recommend this place!

Had dinner on a rainy Saturday night. The place was quaint with a lot of character. Loved the ambience and the decorations. The owner was also our waiter and bartender and we had nice conversations. The food was all delicious and everyone left full. I’d come back to try everything on the menu. THE POUTINE! I enjoyed the vegetable curry savory pie. They must have given a whole filet for the fish and chips. The presentation of the pork pie was fantastic. I had a little bit of everything from each member of my family’s plates. There is so much in the menu that I’d love to try. Would go back to Wilmington just to eat here again!

I heard about this place from a coworker and decided to take the 11/2 hour drive to see for myself. I am glad I did. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, service was great and atmosphere just felt down at home. Before we left we were already planning on what we would each order the next time we came.

This place is amazing! The owner was very sweet and interesting. If you’re in a rush this place isn’t for you. If you have time it’s the perfect place. I recommend all the British Fare they have in the menu! The owners are British and the food was executed perfectly. The fish & chips, savory pie, chicken tikka and grilled cheese were all delicious. While waiting for you food walk around and take in all the neat art that is around.
The food was excellent. Stop in if you are in the area. It's definitely worth a visit.

Small quaint and delicious spot in town. We went last month and I can’t stop thinking about the fish and chips. Similar to other reviews, the restaurant opened a little after 11;30, but we recognized it’s a small restaurant with a small staff and were patient and it was well worth the wait! We went back the next day and will be regulars whenever we are in the area.

Rude service, decent food. We came at 11:30 on a Saturday morning and no one was there even though they’re supposed to open at 11:30. More people started to show up and a pretty decent line formed outside. A woman finally showed up and opened at 11:45 and then immediately started complaining to all the customers that everyone showed up at once and it would overload the kitchen. Well maybe if they’d actually opened on time, it would have been more spaced out…The rude comments and service continued until it became clear she didn’t even really want us to be there, as if we were doing her some disservice by showing up to her restaurant. I’ve eaten there before and the food is decent, but not worth the hostile service, especially considering there’s so many other good options in town nearby.

An eclectic, British infused restaurant. You know, the type of place you can order "bangers". There ingredients range from curries to Shepard's pies. Great location with parking in the back.

Very snooty got there 2hours before closing and couldn't get served Very rude lady that greets you was needed reservations not mentioned on website came from Connecticut for such a bad experience...
I loved this place. The only reason for the 4 stars on service is that on the day I showed up, there was one gentleman (British accent) who I believe is the owner. There was also a cook. That was it. But when I wandered into the small store entrance, looking at the rustic shelves of British goods, the friendly owner spotted me and quietly asked me if I wanted to eat. Yes, I did, so he brought me through a series of small uneven rooms with creaky floorboards (charming) to the dining and bar area. I ordered a tuna melt, and it took a while as the owner was also the bartender and needed to attend to the guests at the bar. I was not in a hurry, so I soaked in the eclectic construction and decoration that makes Jezebel's such an inviting place. It's informal, but well maintained and cared about. I didn't have to wait too long, and the tuna melt with local cheese and fresh dill was cooked perfectly, paired with homemade, snappy coleslaw made for an excellent lunch. Obviously, the cook knows what she's doing. Prices are very fair, I was treated very well, and the food was great. This is not upscale. This is just-right scale, and I look forward to returning.
