Great place. Menu changes recently are fine but really missing that space face ipa
I have been coming here for several years now, and have been very disappointed as of late. The food is bad (even was served raw chicken once), and the beer selection is absolutely dwindling. It’s very disheartening to see a place I used to love turn into what it is now. I love the caesar salad (thank god that hasn’t changed), but please stop changing things for the worst!!!!!!!
Very disappointed with the menu change and limited beer options. I miss the old 4Q 🥲
Its obvious that in the attempt to rebrand they destroyed everything i loved about 4 quarters. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Bring back the full beer menu!
Since they changed leadership recently they lost all of their pizazz. Signage is bland. The beer selection is limited when one of the reasons we used to come here so often was because of the unique variety. The last time I came I ordered my favorite beer and it was not even available despite being listed on the sign. The food used to be great, but now the menu is smaller, the food is worse, but the prices are 20% more. Unfortunately this just does not seem like the brewery it used to be and it’s not for the better. Millennial burger joint vibes for sure.
Amidst the cons with the changes, the space is still welcoming and warm. Great outdoor space and very kind staff. Service is always great.
The family stopped by on a Monday night after traveling all day, so we were hungry and ready to try a couple of beers. The beer selection was good and found they had a nice selection of their stuff in cans to go. They lost a star because they were out of several menu items that 3/4 of us were ordering. We ended up with burgers(both regular and vegan) that were ok and honestly when traveling, burgers are the last thing I want to order.
****UPDATE**** I revisited on May 7th(two weeks later) and I was able to order the Tofu Katsu sandwich and it was very good! My son is leaving the area, so that was likely my last visit and I’m glad I did. Thanks to 4Q for making my visits to the area enjoyable!
Disappointing.. was visiting from MA and looking forward to stopping in. Website said was open, got there to find note that was closed for spring cleaning. Good to hear, but could have noted on website that they were closed. Wasted money parking and wasted time.
Flew in from Arkansas. Super cool brewery and very friendly folks. The Space Face IPA was solid!
Great beer, great atmosphere
Good beer, great service. Limited food menu but it was very good.
Restaurantji Recommends
Decent beer selection, I enjoyed most of what I tried. Cool vibe, would like to see live music here. Higher than average prices for small pours(as much as $5!!!), and no discounted flights. Tacos were okay, full of lettuce and bland. Worth stopping in to try some beer but there are other Burlington area breweries I like better overall.
Great smash burgers and fries. Great beer and cocktail offerings. Counter service.
The rotating selection of beer is top notch and the cocktails are inspired. There’s a little something for everyone here. The lunar smash burger is a personal favorite, don’t sleep on the garlic aoli! The staff are welcoming and very efficient, also they offer excellent recommendations if you’re unsure what you want. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and I love the personality of the place, some bigger breweries lose their homegrown vibe, but not 4Q. Highly recommend the heated and covered patio if your looking to grab a pint with the pups. Also I will say as a service dog handler it is amazing dealing with a welcoming and knowledgeable staff that uphold the state and federal laws regarding service dogs accompanying their disabled handlers. Looking forward to a return trip soon.
Amazing ambience, delicious food, inspired cocktails, and the friendliest staff you'll find! You can tell from the moment you walk in how hard all of the employees work to make Four Quarters a warm and welcoming space for everyone. Whether you're looking for fantastic local brews, cocktails for girl's night, or just a really amazing dinner right in downtown Winooski, this place delivers. Gather around the firepits with friends on a brisk fall night with a one-of-a-kind drink, and you'll see exactly what I mean. 10/10 stars, I recommend this brewery to anyone who's visiting or just looking for a great place to grab a drink and a bite.
Last night my BF and I went to Four Quarters Brewing for the first time. The live music was country and super loud. As a result, people seated at the tables were shouting at each other. We ordered a couple of beers. The service was good. We sat outside. Then we ordered a blue cheese burger and a Robot chicken sandwich. Both dishes came with fries.
We were given a number on a stand and sat outside in the back at a picnc table. The server dropped off the meals in a decent amount of time. No flatware, No napkins. I asked for ketchup and she pointed to a mustard and ketchup dispenser a few tables back. Mini waffle cups, and the ketchup dispenser was broken or empty. Zero ketchup. I went inside and the server pointed to an indoor dispenser at the other end of the bar.
The chicken was totally dry with zero blue cheese. The burger had BBQ sauce. The fries were barely an inch long and shriveled to imperfection. $15 for the chicken and $16 for the burger. Thinking the service would be good I went with the 25% tip when I ordered.
Bottom line - DO NOT EAT at Four Quarters Brewing. Imbibe. Enjoy the beverages. That is their specialty. Roll with it and bring ear plugs if there is live music or hang out back.
