So glad we found this spot! Great selection of classic Eastern European styles, with a couple of hand selected special bottles that were very interesting. (There are other beer types as well. Orval FTW!) Owner is super knowledgeable and gets the vibe that we are looking for. Its a place to chat and chill, without the distraction of TVs and loud tunes.

Met the guys who run the place late on a Monday night during a business trip to Burlington. Got to talking to them. Super knowledgeable about their menu and very fun to chat with. Great food. Really interesting drinks. I can tell a lot of care and love goes into it. Definitely recommend it.

This place is such a breath of fresh air. A lovely addition to the Winooski circle. I highly recommend the Radler, such a refreshing summer drink. The focaccia bread is a must, accompanied by any of the funky cheeses or dips.

A great beer and bites spot in Winooski; a complementary brew pub alongside 4Q and Mule Bar.. in fact, the bartenders and brewers at both of these spots highly recommended Howl. My first visit didn’t disappoint. I’ll be back soon!

Attentive staff, cozy vibes and fresh local nibbles can always be expected alongside their ever-updating draft list! The best spot around BTV, hands down

This bier hall is in walking distance from my place on E. Allen so I was psyched to check it out. Got there shortly after opening enjoying the late day sun coming thru windows. The Lager was good although served with 3 inch head of foam that I patiently let dissipate. The menu albeit limited is truly al la carte: order the crackers, cheese and meat all from their own category add up to a 25$ plus appy. The bartender was not much of a conversationalist - I was not expecting an intimate dialogue, but lets just say I had to crowbar an exchange about how nice the sun was and how it was to have a new place in Winooski circle. She seemed annoyed that she would need to actually have to talk to the customer beyond questions of the menu/beer. I had 2 beers, 1 type of salami, 1 type of cheese and crackers for $48 before tip. Probably won't be coming back, I can get better beer at Bevy, better cheese and meat at Misery Loves Company and better conversation with a toothless hag at McKees for less money. Peace and Love, Chico.
