Wonderful little market and shop right in downtown Winooski. We miss their restaurant from years ago but now they are a cute little market with amazing prepared foods to go and cook at home (their Shepard's Pie is wonderful, and their Tourtiere and Crab Dip are to amazing!), really unique items like their Smoked Char Rillette, and Pate’s, yummy breads, grab & go food items, salads, sandwiches, etc. We had the chance to talk to Logan and he shared their evolution over the years from restaurant to market, and that many of the items in their market are sourced locally from the region. A regular stop for us when we're in the area!

Their chocolate mousse is to DIE for. I live in the neighborhood and walk down to get it multiple times a week. It’s a go to spot for lunch, to grab stuff when I don’t want to make dinner. The staff is exceptional. Winooski is so lucky to have this gem.

Such a lovely shop. The people alone, their kind demeanor and knowledge of their products, made our experience so enjoyable. We purchased some fun wines and unique candy. The home goods were beautiful and had I less self control I would have walked away with so much more.

Decent little market. Items are priced a touch too high though. I only tried the croissants which were quite large and tasted delicious. However, the people working there did see me and my friend and ignored us for five minutes while we waited awkwardly. Maybe it was us that didn't know how to get their attention or they were busy but that was my experience.

I have always loved MLC and their partner locations but today I left feeling a bit duped. I got the jambon beurre sandwich which was at the counter and wrapped in deli paper. After tax it came out to about $18.When I got back and opened it, there was only 3 thin layers of ham and the butter, while delicious, was just globbed throughout the sandwich, not evenly spread at all. I love butter, but mouthfuls of it is a little overkill. I'm all for european style grab n go sandwiches but typically, they are less than $10. When I saw the price, I figured that this would be an above and beyond version. What I received was disappointing. At the pricepoint, I would recommend visiting their sister restaurant Onion City Chicken and Oyster and getting a fried chicken sandwich for a couple bucks more.

Great little market. They carry a lot of cool snacks and items you don't really see in conventional stores. This shop has some real personality and we got some delicious fresh bread. It often carries hard to find products and food from local businesses and they have fantastic baked goods. It is located right along the Winooski Circle so I suggest parking a few blocks away in a free spot and enjoying the walk. It's stores like this that make me proud to be a Vermonter.

A great place for foodies and cooks to grab some hard to find ingredients, with great to-go options.

We stumbled into this spot and I'm so glad we did. We grabbed a selection of to go breakfast/lunch items to take on route to a hike. The sandwiches were delicious and the pastries were good too. I also found 47878975984 cool little items for stocking stuffers.

Overpriced and fairly unimaginative menu. Tried twice and both times disappointed. If they had the variety of Sneakers and Penny Cluse, they might have won me over.

Must Try Chicken Sandwich ! The mother of Onion City this daytime location not only provides great food but as a market place a great community service.

Rough Francis chicken was served with a wing versus breast. Half the sandwich was bread only.

My wife and I stopped in here for breakfast and had the Good Egg sandwich. Phenomenal, the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had! I'd give it more stars if I could. The "brown butter" is kind of like a tangy creamy hollandaise sauce with the crispy home made hash brown was amazing. We also got a cup of plain yogurt for our baby and the staff was kind enough to bring us a variety of spoons for him.
