take this review with a grain of salt, because vietnamese cuisine isn’t my sweet spot. but everything was SO FRESH. really remarkable. the space is bright and quiet and the service is great. my one minor gripe was that the atmospheric music wasn’t to my taste. kind of like having breakfast in a music box. but the food is freshhhhhh!

Excellent food, bright and sunny place, and friendly staff. A neighborhood favorite and absolutely worth venturing to from Burlington and surrounding areas. Great for both meeting up with friends or eating alone. The only thing I wish they'd change is to offer real cups, glasses, plates, and silverware instead of only disposable items. And just clean off the glass tabletops a little more often.

Banh mi is not authentic. No liver pate, very dry inside the bread and small portion of meat.

My family and I were in town and saw online they serve halal meat so we placed a large takeout order. The process was seamless and efficient. There’s parking in the back and the person working there was friendly. The grilled beef banh mi and grilled chicken banh mi were great, as were the beef sambusas. I definitely recommend this place, especially since it’s not so common to find halal Vietnamese food.

Best Bánh mì sandwich I've ever had. Used to live out west in a place with a large Vietnamese population. Have eaten at several places out there and I will put Sarom's sandwiches up against any of them. The other stuff is good, but not as outstanding as the sandwich. No matter what you order, get a Bánh mì. You will be happy.

Got the iced Vietnamese milk coffee, beef banh mi, sesame balls, and coconut bun. Every item was 10/10 — delicious and reasonably priced, especially for how much meat they included in the banh mi and the quality of the coffee. Beef was very flavorful and tender, coffee had excellent flavor. The pastry and sesame balls were also well worth it. The atmosphere was amazing.

What a gem. I swung by today just after they’d closed and the lovely and generous staff made me the most delicious banh mi. That bread MY GOD—somehow crispy and soft at once. And the filling was special too. I got the tofu, which some restaurants seem to add to the menu as an afterthought. Sarom’s Cafe’s was warm and flavorful, complemented by the pickled veg, cukes, etc. I can’t post a photo because I ate it within seconds. Best banh mi around! Will be back to try more of the menu and enjoy the beautiful space.
