We've never gone here and not had an unforgettable time. It's always 10/10. Not to mention, we seem to leave with new friends. The space, both inside and out, is cozy and well appointed without feeling unapproachable. And the cocktails are some of the best on the east coast. Love this place so much.

Love this spot. Quaint, good selection of drinks. Really the only option in town so thats a plus for them. Other bars are less interesting in Woodstock. Lots of outdoor space. Not many food options if you’re hungry, just small bites.

Wonderful little cocktail bar. A must see in Woodstock. But also worth going out of Your way to find.Great drinks. Cool space. The environment was great, the bar smelled really good. Don’t know if they use a candle or special air freshener. Four of us each tried a different drink and everyone was very impressed.

Came in for a drink and snacks. Ordered the Mediterranean trio, which included chips, olives, and nuts. It was perfect for snacking. Ordered the lumberjack and the Emerald kiss. Both were tasty drinks. Our server was bomb, very friendly. The place is hip and a bit loud, but that is expected for a drink stop. Everything was great here. It is a tight sitting arrangement but doable. Must stop for drinks.

Adorable place. Beautiful interior. Really fun and and cute concept. The hostess was quite rude when we walked in so that was a little off putting. Waitress was nice. Drinks were mediocre. Glad I tried it once but wouldn’t come back.

We went to Au Comptoir for some drinks during our trip to Woodstock. The atmosphere and decoration are wonderful, you can enjoy the place. We took two drinks from the complete and original menu, these were tasty. We also ordered a charcuterie board, a little bit expensive for what it is. The manager was there, she asked us about our experience, and was really nice. But the bartender was hurried and she didn’t have a good attitude.

This was one of the trendiest coolest drink/food spots we found on our tour through Vermont. The ambiance is so beautiful, love how they decorated everything and they had great music playing. Drinks were fantastic, went down a little too fast ? and the two gals working there were super friendly, even though we got there kind of late a little before they were closing. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely dreadful experience at Au Comptoir. The staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional, showing a complete lack of respect for customers. The communication was abysmal, leaving me feeling neglected and unimportant. The overall atmosphere of the bar reeked of a low-class environment, making the whole visit utterly unpleasant. I would strongly advise avoiding this place at all costs.
My 5* is for beverages although they do have food and little bites but we didn't try them due to dinner reservations. We stopped in for a happy hour drink and had a great time. Very creative and delicious specialty drinks, great atmosphere and friendly bartenders. If you're in Woodstock VT you should definitely stop in for a drink

We stopped in on a rainy Thursday night so it wasn’t too crowded. The menu of cocktails was beautiful and lots to choose from. They serve beer if you’re not into hard liquor. The decor was unique and interesting, cocktails were delicious and service was friendly. We are looking forward to visiting Au Comptoir again!

We are from Alabama and have been touring 4 New England states. We stumbled upon Au Comptoir and found it to be a top highlight of our vacation. Julian welcomed us into his establish immediately. The atmosphere was polished and very handsome. Returning here will be a top priority on our next trip to VT.
