Basically everything you want from a coffee shop. They have created plenty of cozy spaces for people to sit and enjoy good fresh food or a really nice cup of coffee. There’s a large food menu with vegetarian options. Staff is friendly and it was a lovely way to spend a few hours on a Friday afternoon.

Had a delicious hot cocoa on a snowy day with friends. Lots of options and plenty of seating. Great spot to curl up with a book.

The classic sando was my favorite and yours too once you try it. The coffee here is great. The food takes a little time to leave the kitchen, but worth the wait. It usually is very busy here so patience is a virtue.

The best lunch spot in Woodstock! My girlfriend and I were driving back from Killington and stopped for lunch. Right when you walk in, you get the feeling that this place is special. Family owned, family loved. The cappuccino was fantastic, but the star of the show was the coffeehouse brisket. You can taste the freshness, amazing sandwich! The sausage and cheddar soup was also phenomenal, i want that recipe!!

Loved this spot. Cozy space with really solid café food. I ordered the Sage (chicken salad sandwich with arugula) and it was perfectly balanced and fresh. Paired it with a Black Forest oat milk latte (mocha and cherry), which was great on a freezing Vermont day.

Delicious hot chocolate, lovely atmosphere, and the world’s kindest owner. Some friends and I were on our way to an Airbnb nearby, and our 2wd cars were unable to make it up the steep icy road to the house. We stopped into the Mon Vert Cafe, and the owner, Sam, overheard us talking about our predicament. She immediately offered to help us, and then shuttled our 8 person group in her truck to our Airbnb before the start of a major snowstorm. She saved our trip. Such a warm and lovely person and a fantastic cafe.

Stopped in on a cold winter day and was warmed body and soul. The food was delicious -- even as a vegetarian, I had too many delicious-sounding choices to pick from. The staff and owner were all incredibly kind and welcoming, as were the other people in the cafe. Gonna stop here again before I leave town!

Come here a lot, love friendly vibe, healthy food and drink options. For people who have never been here I think important things to know is that you order at the register and if you eat in you have to stake out your own table, there are two floors whoever there are times when it’s very busy and difficult to find a table particularly if your a larger crowd, the seats are chairs or couches while other tables have seats, you may want someone to search for a spot while someone else orders. As a local it is definitely better here during the “off seasons” because it’s way less crowded, less wait for food and actually able to find a table and not wait though don’t let that discourage you from coming any season just be prepared for a bit of a wait during the busier times for the quality of food and staff is pleasant all year around.

It was passable. The people were nice enough, granted they were quite busy. Order at the counter and they’ll slam some food down at your table in a reasonable amount of time. Not much pesto in my peso sandwich, but the bread was good.

We looooove Mon Vert Cafe! The food is delicious, the cappuccinos divine, but what we really love is how they move folks through the ordering and delivering process! This is an outstanding, seamless operation that many busy cafes need to emulate.

This was our first visit to Mon Vert Cafe in Woodstock, and it was such a great introduction to what this local spot has to offer. From the moment we walked in, the café felt warm, welcoming, and perfectly in tune with the charm of Woodstock.
Mon Vert has a cozy, laid-back café vibe that makes you want to linger. It’s bright, comfortable, and relaxed ...ideal for a casual lunch, coffee date, or just enjoying good food at an unhurried pace. The atmosphere feels very community-oriented and inviting.
The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient. Staff were patient, helpful with menu questions, and made sure everything came out just right. As first-time visitors, we felt genuinely welcomed.
For our meal, we each chose something different and both dishes were excellent.
My wife ordered the Yankee Quesadilla ($15.00), which came with roasted chicken breast on a whole-wheat tortilla, pico de gallo, Cabot cheddar cheese, and a side of sour cream. She added avocado (+$2), which was a great choice, it added extra creaminess and flavor. The quesadilla was hearty, well-balanced, and satisfying without being heavy.
I went with The Coffeehouse Brisket ($15.00), featuring their own coffee-marinated local brisket with pickled red onions, basil aioli, Swiss cheese, shredded carrots, and arugula on a baguette. This sandwich was outstanding, the brisket was tender and flavorful, with the coffee marinade adding depth without overpowering the dish. The pickled onions and basil aioli tied everything together beautifully. I also added a side of Homefries ($6), which were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and well-seasoned, an excellent complement to the sandwich.
Mon Vert Cafe delivered on all fronts: great food, friendly service, and a cozy ambiance that fits perfectly in Woodstock. For a first visit, we were thoroughly impressed and will absolutely be back to explore more of the menu. A must-stop if you’re in the area.

If you’re visiting Woodstock you need to add this to your list! My best friend and I went for lunch yesterday, I got the Gobble It Up (and a maple almond milk latte) and she got the Oink + Cluck! We were so happy with our food, hot and delicious. The cafe has all the Vermont charm, with locally sourced ingredients and family vibes. I’ll be dreaming of that sandwich!
