I work in a restaurant so I know that reviews are often flat-out wrong. Usually the only people that are going to go out of their way to leave a review are the type of people who like to complain and need to be heard. So, you don’t have to believe me but this is my second time here and this place is great. Go ahead and give it a chance. Good vibes, great menu, a flavor that Woodstock desperately needed. They’re open daily and have a parking lot- also a rarity in this town. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free options, and the staff is nice, outgoing, and efficient. I wouldn’t take a star away for this but the only thing they’re missing is Long Trail Ale on draft. Just saying.

Food was WONDERFUL!!! Servers were super nice and we were really impressed with the portion sizes. Great value! And LOTS of gluten free options!!
Living around Woodstock, I’m happy to have another dining option in the area. We just walked in on a fairly busy Thursday night and got seated pretty quickly. The WAMBArito was great and my wife really enjoyed her Rock Bowl. They had a solid drink selection. Service was a little slow but not unreasonably so. Things always take a little bit longer in Vermont, plus the place just opened. I’m sure they’ll figure it out. I would definitely go back. There is another burrito place nearby that has been open longer and, based on this experience, Ranch Camp is better. The food was fresher tasting, we got seated more quickly, and the service was still better than our last visit to the other place.

Went there for the first time last night. Food was fairly priced. Menu options were just right without being excessive. All our dishes were great! The fried artichoke hearts ap was amazing! Atmosphere was very nice and it is very clean. Its great to see them renovate the old bank into a nice eatery. They do not accept reservations, so it's first come first serve. I'm not a bike person, but the shop in the basement seemed to be very well appointed if that is your thing.

Great food and friendly staff!
I have read the reviews on here and I do not put any credence in people complaining about wait times on a newly opened restaurant in the upper valley. It’s new, many people are checking it out and their staff is learning. That being said, our food was just ok for great food prices. Nobody at our table was blown away. Ordered fried cauliflower hot wings, they were soggy because they were drenched in hotsauce ( solution hot sauce on the side). Fries were lukewarm warm and not fresh. I ordered a margarita, very expensive and it tasted like sweet water. I think they forgot some ingredients. The expense was not worth the quality of the fare. It wasn’t busy so I am guessing that’s going to be the normal. We will wait a few months and try it again to make sure. The place looked great, was spacious, and the staff was friendly. They did hang out in the kitchen a lot. When we arrived we waited about 10 minutes before any staff made themselves availible from the kitchen.

During our family vacation to Vermont, we chose Ranch Camp for dinner on our first evening, and it proved to be an excellent start to our trip. The service was excellent, with staff who were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The restaurant’s concept is unique to the Woodstock area, offering a fresh and engaging atmosphere. My family and I especially enjoyed the biking theme, complete with TVs displaying cyclists navigating various trails, which made for enjoyable viewing throughout the meal.
The food was delicious, and the menu offers something appealing for everyone, which can be challenging to find while traveling. Every dish that came out of the kitchen looked great, and it felt as though you could not go wrong with any selection. Ranch Camp stands out as a wonderful casual local spot, and it is highly recommended for anyone planning a visit Woodstock, Vermont.

We ate twice here while staying in Woodstock. Busy but we didn't have to wait too long either time and we never realised it was a new restaurant, things were very smooth. Good range of food options and it was all good quality. Good range of beers as well.
Parking can be an issue when it's busy so if you're staying at The Shire then I'd recommend walking if you can.

Update: did not receive the refund so I’m disputing with my bank
Ordered takeout from here and after an hour and a half past my pickup time we still had no food. Lots of angry people waiting for takeout and dine in food. Hoping I get the refund I was promised when we gave up and left.

We are at Ranch Camp Woodstock for the first time last week and the food was incredible. Tons of gluten free options including yummy chicken tenders and burgers with excellent GF rolls. The service was on the slower side but we weren’t in a rush and we knew going in the restaurant is newer and probably working out some kinks. One thing that did stand out service-wise was our water constantly being refilled. Of note - there is pretty limited parking. We arrived shortly after open and had no issue but it did not take long for the parking lot to fill up and the line to be seated to go out the door. The one bit of feedback I would have is that the restaurant needs some additions sound absorption as it gets very loud and can be hard to hear others at your table.

Ordered the grill chicken sandwich and my wife ordered the burger, both were excellent, it was very tasty and hot. Service was excellent from our server and from the staff, they came to make sure we were good. I mean it don’t get better than this. Good job guys. I will go back before i head back to Texas.

On a busy holiday weekend, we were still treated well by the wait staff! The bike shop has great gear and swag to buy while you wait too. The menu was so diverse this is the kind of restaurant I would visit multiple times to try all the food that sounded good if I was in Woodstock longer. Every dish that was served around us looked amazing too. Draft beer, burger, salad, and artichokes were delicious. Our party of 4 all enjoyed their meals! themselves!
