Just left?. Certainly not the worst meal I have ever eaten but mediocre at best. My wife had an Arugula and Spinach salad which she enjoyed. I had the pork and beef eggrolls and although a cool idea were poorly executed and pasty. My wife had the shrimp and grits for an entree. The grits were underwhelming and lacked seasoning while the shrimp were very over-seasoned and salty. Too much rub on the shrimp. The rub was tasty just over-salted. I had the pork chop in panko. I don’t know what the white gloppy stuff was on top but it lacked seasoning. If that was risotto on the plate it needed to be seasoned as well. Waitstaff was friendly. The bill was not. I’m from New York so I’m used to eating overpriced food and I have no objection, however when the price far exceeds the quality something must be questioned. Skip it!

Love this place. Fantastic food, wine and service. Love the modern feel. Tapas plates are larger than expected. Favorite place in Woodstock, progressive owner and it

We are so glad we found this place. It was a great experience. My husband and I were there celebrating his 50th birthday weekend and wanted a special dinner. We had bar seat reservations and the hostess who seated us also took our order. I was SO thrilled they had mocktails! (As a suggestion, it should be on the wine/beer menu. We had to ask about it!) And then I was asked if I wanted fruity, citrus or spicy. I chose citrus and had the very coolest drink. I ordered another! Everything is tappas style so you order to share. We ordered raw oysters, whipped ricotta toast with fig jam, teriyaki pork tacos and the chocolate mouse. All the food was literally INCREDIBLE except the mouse. It had no sweetness at all and we strongly disliked the cherries on top. The only good thing about it was the little shortbread cookie. We'd try something else for dessert next time. The other downside was no one asked how we were doing or if we needed anything the entire time we were seated. Our ricotta toast had been forgotten and we had to flag someone down in order to ask about it even though the people next to us had all their courses before we did though they were seated much later than us. I felt a little forgotten overall. BUT the service was all met with a smile and kindness! I would still go back!

Fantastic farm to table restaurant! Limited menu but whats there is quality. Had ricotta toast with onion jam & the steak frites. Both were very good, steak cooked perfectly with a great bernaise sauce! Friendly attentive staff with a nice cozy setting & chill atmosphere. Will definitely come back anytime im in the area!

Dinner was absolutely delicious. Steak frites with bearnaise sauce and crispy potatoes - just perfect. Black Sea bass crudo- fennel, blood orange, blood orange ponzu, toasted pecan, micro cilantro, also incredible. Highly recommend the dark side of the moon cocktail. Will definitely return.

We had the pleasure of visiting Sante on January 25, 2024. Not only was the food excellent, both the staff and the experience exceeded expectations. We were invited to order in a "tapas" style in which we ordered small plates to share with our table. We particularly enjoyed the zucchini/pesto appetizer which we ordered more than once. For the entree we shared a halibut encrusted with parmesan and served over vegetables and what I would categorize as an "Italian Stew" with Italian sausage, ham, beans, etc. The food was outstanding but the atmosphere created by the staff made this the most unique dining experience. We hope to visit again soon.

Highly recommend Santé! The food, vibe, and staff were amazing. Get the Old Fashioned and Cheddar Biscuits with Jalapeño bacon spread!

10/10, five stars, best meal you’re going to find! Ohhhh man, where to start? Sante had a comfortable farm to table atmosphere, and you walk in to the staff busily helping guests. We were greeted so quickly by both the host and the owner Matt. He and his staff were all so friendly and quick to ask how our evening was going, and checked up on our food throughout the night. My husband had an old fashioned and said it was the best he’s ever had; I’m pregnant so I was only able to enjoy a mocktail, which was so good too. The meal was SO FRESH. Get the mangalitsa! Locally farmed and incredibly flavorful. I don’t have enough good things to say about our experience at Sante. Just go here for yourself.

Went with a friend to grab a beer at the bar. The hostess blocked us, saying “unfortunately gentlemen, we can’t seat you.” (It was 8:30 on Saturday night and the restaurant half full, the bar empty. We explained that we just wanted to have a beer at the bar and, clearly exasperated, she finally said “alright, just one beer.” We sat and, after some effort, got the woman behind the bar to serve us. While we sat, she gave a couple of eye rolling glances to the hostess. (What had we done to offend?) At exactly 9:00, they put on Billy Joel’s ‘Piano Man’ and played it loudly (opening line, “it’s 9:00 on a Saturday) and cranked it up a bit every minute - seemingly as a strong message to drive us out. There were still a few diners finishing up. We left at 9:05, never to return. If you hope for warm and courteous service, skip this place and go to the Prince and the Pauper instead!

My husband and I decided to visit Woodstock last week. Sante was our splurge dinner. What a quaint place! We loved the decor and atmosphere. Fine dining without a huge bill. My whiskey sour was superb. Fresh and delicious. We ordered the biscuits with bacon and jalapenos butter... So good! Our entres were the seared Halibut over fresh spinach, and dessert was a baked apple with Carmel, marscipone, and pecans. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors were beautiful. Service was excellent! If we are in the area again we will definitely go back.Parking: It is in the town center so easily accessible if walking the town.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this restaurant! This is ALWAYS A “go to” for any occasion but especially when we have family and friends in from out of town. The super fresh farm to table ingredients are just the beginning…add imaginative cocktails and the tapas style dining and it’s a perfect evening for us.Thanks again for an amazing meal and evening!

I personally wasn’t super impressed with Sante. Tapas style food but very expensive given the portion sizes. Dishes are mostly $20 a piece and as i said, relatively small. Drinks are also $20 a piece. Personally thought it wasn’t worth the money ??‍♀️

I’m catching up on reviews and wanted to give Sante some love. We try and go as often as we can (we’re locals). Such a vibey place with a great wine list and such creative dishes. We usually order 3 for 2 people. Or 4. They’re always so good, it’s hard to stop. Thank you guys for always being great!
