“I LOVE THIS WOMAN!!!! My best friend and I had possibly the worst day of our entire lives; we had to jump her car and decided on trying this sushi place. We were originally going to get takeout, but she sat us at a crisp 8:30; they were supposed to close at 9:00. So, sweet!! Her service was so kind and my friend and I felt so loved. She truely brightened our gloomy day. And on top of that, the food BANGIN! WE WILL BE COMING BACK SO OFTEN!!!“

“Some places serve food. Some places serve an experience. Rico's Smoke House delivers both, and somehow makes it look effortless.
We stopped in for what we thought would be a simple date night and walked out wondering why we hadn't found this place sooner. The food was outstanding, the drinks were perfectly made, the prices were more than fair, and the entire staff made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we walked in.
A special shout-out to Jaden, who is the kind of employee every business hopes to have. On one of the busiest nights imaginable, she handled the rush with grace, a great attitude, and a smile that never disappeared. She wasn't just taking care of her own tables—she was helping her coworkers, making sure drinks and food were getting out quickly, checking on guests, and somehow making every customer feel like they were her top priority.
What really stood out was the personal touch. Jaden remembered our names, remembered exactly what we ordered, and thanked us as we were leaving. Those little moments are what turn first-time customers into regulars.
The bartender was fantastic, our server was attentive and friendly, and the kitchen deserves a standing ovation. Every bite was packed with flavor, and it's obvious the people behind the scenes take real pride in what they serve.
These days, it's rare to find a place where the food is excellent, the drinks are great, the prices are reasonable, and the customer service is this genuine. Rico's Smoke House has found that balance.
This has officially become our new date-night spot. Jaden is definitely a bonus, but the real reason we'll keep coming back is because the entire team has created a place that feels welcoming, delivers top-quality food and drinks, and makes a night out feel worth every penny.
If you're looking for incredible barbecue, excellent drinks, outstanding service, and an atmosphere that keeps you coming back, Rico's Smoke House is the place to be.

“This is absolutely my favorite place in Pullman to get a delicious lunch for a great value. It's located right along the paradise creek trail which is great if you want to grab something to eat while you walk. The best time to go is on Tuesday when the tacos are only $1.38. They do have an upcharge if you're paying with a credit card so be sure to bring cash“

“We had a great lunch here and the Manager served us. He exemplified what a conscientious and “in tune” customer service displayed. I was very impressed with his attention to customer satisfaction.
Give the Manager a raise!!! I believe he is training his employees by example. I will be back to beat here next year!!“
