“This place is located on the South Hill, and even though it sits in a simple strip mall, don’t let that fool you! 😊 Sometimes the most unassuming spots hide the best food, and that’s definitely the case here. The dishes are prepared with care, full of flavor, and truly enjoyable. 🍽️ Everything we tried tasted fresh and delicious, making the visit totally worth it. It just goes to show that amazing food can be found in the most unexpected places. If you’re nearby, it’s definitely a spot worth checking out! 👍“

“Our favorite place to eat in the mall, hands down. Miso teriyaki bowl, rice or noodles. We practically inhale the food. I have had people stop at my table and interrupt me to ask where I got my lunch because they were surprised at how pretty it was and how good it smelled. I recommend Miso to anyone who will listen.“

“I have lived in Spokane Valley for 30 years, and I've driven past Kay's Teriyaki for 30 years. Now that my son is playing hockey at Eagles Ice Arena, I decided to stop and try it. It was delicious! And it was eye appealing. Most items were about $17 to $20, but portions are large. We went with a big group and we were impressed by nearly everything. We ordered a tempura shrimp appetizer that was great, beef yakisoba, shrimp yakisoba, teriyaki chicken, honey walnut chicken, and phad Thai, and a General Tsao's combo. Many meals came with egg flower soup and salad. The portions were large! My daughter and I split the beef yakisoba and we both left full. My wife took home half of the honey walnut chicken to eat for lunch the next day. There were vegetarian options available. I was further impressed to find out that it is connected to the prior Shogun establishment. I always enjoyed going there before it burned down. Although the interior of Kay's was dated, and they could use some more kitchen help, we were very pleased with our first experience. I would recommend it to others.“

“GREAT FOOD! I haven’t eaten here since early last year (2021) becuz I had moved from the lower South Hill to Airway Heights. I had ordered my favorite ‘Tan Tan Men’ and the chicken was shredded and not cubed like before, so I must say that the taste was even better. Even though AWH is 10 miles away, I will be visiting more often for sure. BTW when I order my fav as take-out, I ask for the Tan Tan Woman not men 🤘. * Side Note: It was nice seeing Katie D, who is an awesome server/person - (Katie, I will be working on my tan) 😁“

“Love and recommend their food, but the prices are way, way too high. Double the cost of what it should be. Eighteen dollar Pad Thai? Seriously? Um, sure, but only once a year at that price.“

“Excellent place for lunch, or dinner! The Bento Box was outstanding; healthy portions, tempura was crispy, everything tasted fresh - nothing pre-made. We’ll definitely come back.“

“WORST NIGHT EVER My boyfriend and I ate there yesterday. The server made me very uncomfortable talking about my perfume and the way he looked at me when he talked about a woman he once dated with my same scent. It was completely inappropriate and extremely creepy. The food was mediocre at best, but the fried rice was brown and not because it was supposed to be. It made my boyfriend super sick. The oil/flattop grill has to be filthy for it to be that dark. His stomach pains/nausea are proof that AK’s kitchen standards are low. I got the combination dinner #9 and it made me violently vomit later on. I will be sure to continue telling everyone I know to NEVER give them another penny.“
