“Fantastic restaurant with quick service and delicious food. Our party went for a birthday dinner and everyone enjoyed every bite. From sushi, to hibachi, to teriyaki everyone raved about their meals. Definitely going back!!“

“Seriously sooooooooo good! We just finished our food and we are so satisfied! Our 3 year old and 6 year old absolutely love it too. We got the pork ramen. My husband got spicy and I got regular. Both were truly amazing! The chicken curry with rice was also on point! We will order from here 1000% again! Ate our food too fast to take a picture!“

“I travel for work quite a bit and am a frequent enjoyer of teriyaki restaurants. Not quite a teriyaki connoisseur, but close. I also don't often leave reviews but I always try to when a place is notably better than average, which this was.
Just to establish a baseline of what I am used to: a lot of highly regarded teriyaki places often have that taste that seems like their grills haven't been cleaned in a decade. The beef is usually so tough you can barely chew it. The chicken tastes like it sat at room temp for 24 hrs before cooked. The rice is mushy and cold.
So when I say this place is better than average, none of the above applies. The meats were on point and genuinely good. The sticky rice was fire. The included salad didn't have any brown bits. An absolute treat.
I'm not being sarcastic. Maybe the bar is low, but this place is good.
Oh and most importantly, they included a plastic fork in my door dash order even though I forgot to ask for it. Most places don't include it even when I specifically ask.
Absolute W. I really don't enjoy going to Spokane given the outrageously aggressive drivers, dismal vibes and its proximity to the middle of freaking nowhere, but I'll make sure to get food from this place again.“

“GREAT FOOD! I haven’t eaten here since early last year (2021) becuz I had moved from the lower South Hill to Airway Heights. I had ordered my favorite ‘Tan Tan Men’ and the chicken was shredded and not cubed like before, so I must say that the taste was even better. Even though AWH is 10 miles away, I will be visiting more often for sure. BTW when I order my fav as take-out, I ask for the Tan Tan Woman not men 🤘. * Side Note: It was nice seeing Katie D, who is an awesome server/person - (Katie, I will be working on my tan) 😁“

“The service is extremely slow. The staff seems all over the place. They served one person in our party and took 20 minutes longer to serve the others. We all ordered Bento boxes.....“

“I have lived in Spokane Valley for 30 years, and I've driven past Kay's Teriyaki for 30 years. Now that my son is playing hockey at Eagles Ice Arena, I decided to stop and try it. It was delicious! And it was eye appealing. Most items were about $17 to $20, but portions are large. We went with a big group and we were impressed by nearly everything. We ordered a tempura shrimp appetizer that was great, beef yakisoba, shrimp yakisoba, teriyaki chicken, honey walnut chicken, and phad Thai, and a General Tsao's combo. Many meals came with egg flower soup and salad. The portions were large! My daughter and I split the beef yakisoba and we both left full. My wife took home half of the honey walnut chicken to eat for lunch the next day. There were vegetarian options available. I was further impressed to find out that it is connected to the prior Shogun establishment. I always enjoyed going there before it burned down. Although the interior of Kay's was dated, and they could use some more kitchen help, we were very pleased with our first experience. I would recommend it to others.“

“The absolute best in Spokane! Their space is so nice and clean and pleasant. For those of us with some meat restrictions, you have so many options here. Everyone is so nice and every single time it has been the best atmosphere. Treat ya self.“
