Kinja Reviews
I don’t understand the negative reviews. This is one of the best tasting restaurants in Spokane. I come from Portland where we had PLENTY to choose from as well. The food is AMAZING. It is owned by a husband and wife duo who really care about their food. The restaurant has slowed down in the past couple of years. Second time I ordered delivery and they did not supply any wasabi, soy sauce or chop sticks. Tough to eat sushi without those basics. Does not seem like they care.
I ordered $100 worth of sushi and it all tasted horribly, like mold, even the wasabi 😔 so disappointed and sad.

Kinja is a hidden gem that serves amazing food in a quiet and cozy atmosphere. The restaurant is usually empty, which makes for a peaceful dining experience. The staff is kind and attentive, and the food is great. The menu offers a variety of options, including sushi, sashimi, and Japanese cheesecake. The chef's choice of sushi/sashimi is a popular option, and the green tea is a refreshing accompaniment. The prices are affordable compared to other sushi shops in the area. The restaurant has a cute and intimate setting, and the parking is convenient with a strip of free parking available. Customers praise the food as amazingly perfect, delicious, and a great find. The couple who owns the restaurant are described as the best, sweet, and receptive. Customers enjoy the spicy dishes, the dragon roll, bento box chicken katsu, and the overall atmosphere.
