“For under 11$ you can get a lunch that will fill you up!! There are plenty of options, including vegetarian if you want, but I recommend their teriyaki chicken. Perfectly grilled chicken (not dry), a tasty sauce, heaping serving of rice, and a side salad. It's simple, but beautifully simple. The atmosphere at this location is awesome too it's still got that old school diner vibe yet modernized in the right ways to be a great place to eat. This is one of the few restaurants left I know of that you feel like you are getting your money's worth in food.“

“GREAT FOOD! I haven’t eaten here since early last year (2021) becuz I had moved from the lower South Hill to Airway Heights. I had ordered my favorite ‘Tan Tan Men’ and the chicken was shredded and not cubed like before, so I must say that the taste was even better. Even though AWH is 10 miles away, I will be visiting more often for sure. BTW when I order my fav as take-out, I ask for the Tan Tan Woman not men 🤘. * Side Note: It was nice seeing Katie D, who is an awesome server/person - (Katie, I will be working on my tan) 😁“

“The service is extremely slow. The staff seems all over the place. They served one person in our party and took 20 minutes longer to serve the others. We all ordered Bento boxes.....“

“I don’t understand the negative reviews. This is one of the best tasting restaurants in Spokane. I come from Portland where we had PLENTY to choose from as well. The food is AMAZING. It is owned by a husband and wife duo who really care about their food. The restaurant has slowed down in the past couple of years. It takes longer to be served than other places sometimes, which I really enjoy because I bring a book or talk to the owners/waiters and enjoy my time rather than rushing in and out. Highly recommend.“
