Just went there and it was horrible. Came in town from New Orleans and decided to give it a shot. The wait for a table was extremely long due to them taking to many reservations and basically not having enough staff or tables for walk ins. They only had one bartender for a night they said was going to be extremely busy. love in Lewiston and I wish we have one down their it is the best place to eat at very good food and a good environment!
My husband and I took our family out for dinner.
I was looking forward to it as I used to love the Onion and it had been about five years since I had been there.
The service was lacking. It took over an hour to get our food. When we did get it, it was luke warm and the absolute worst meal we have ever eaten.
Our two children didn't eat their meals and my husband ate his fries as that was the only thing edible on his plate, mind you his meal was $31.

Based on the reviews, The Onion Bar & Grill in North Spokane is a Spokane institution with fantastic, delicious food. The Epicurean Mac and Cheese, Steak bites, and Onion soup are top notch. The cougar gold burger and cougar gold dip are favorites, and the elk chop steak burger is very good. The bacon stuffed tater tots are genius and dangerously good, and the french fries in the mushroom burger are absolutely fantastic. The beer list is epic. However, the restaurant can be a bit noisy and very expensive. Service can be subpar at the North Division location, with some waiting over 20 minutes without being acknowledged, though other guests found the staff great and genuinely caring.
