“We’ve been in before, but it’s been years. I don’t know why we wait so long before coming in again. We are always greeted with the nicest staff and the best food/milkshakes! My sister and I went in today and shared the daily deal. It was enough food for both of us to split, they even put it on separate plates and cut the burger for us! The food was incredible, flavorful and my favorite? Not greasy!! Yes there is grease to a point since it’s a burger and fries, but there isn’t grease dripping down my fingers when I take a bite and making me feel sick. I genuinely feel good after eating their food. It’s a friendly environment, I like the old time feel. Definitely recommend and will be back. Ooh they also donated ice cream to the deaconess NICU reunion 💙“

“I found my favorite local burger place. probably the best bang for your buck you're going to get in Spokane. The bacon blue cheeseburger was as good as any I've got at any high-end pub and way less cheaper. thanks for having one of my favorites on the menu and you will have a repeat customer I guarantee.“

“We went there for my twin daughters 12th birthday. I called 2 days in advance to make sure that they could accommodate a party of 10. The gal I spoke with was extremely polite and helpful, said it wouldn't be a problem. I then called on Weds to re-confirm. The gal I spoke with was ok. When we got there, we were told that they could only accommodate us outside. After sitting down and nearly 15 minutes later outside in 80+ degree weather and our tables directly in the sun, our server had not come out once to even offer us water. Even if we were still waiting on a few people to arrive, proper customer service would have been at to least check to see if drinks were wanted while we waited on the last few people. My boyfriend and I ended up going inside to the bar to grab a drink. Only then did the server acknowledge us and asked if we wanted drinks. She said she got distracted and asked nothing about the rest of our party outside, including my 74 y/o mother. Mind you they were not very busy, at all! Another 10 minutes goes by before I go inside to ask where our server was did she start heading outside. So we essentially waited 30 minutes for our party to get not even water. It appeared that our server may have been training another. I hope that they both get better training from a more experienced server because the customer service we received was only a 1 star, and that's being generous.“

My daughter got the Shelby 350 and said it was really good. My husband ordered the Best Day Ever, and I got the Oklahoma. The burgers were so juicy, and the bread was toasted to perfection, which is my favorite! 🍔❤ They practically fell apart because they were so juicy!

We also got onion rings, and my daughter got a butterscotch milkshake, which was a nice treat! 🥤 The fries were pretty basic and nothing too exciting, but everything else was delicious.

One tip: You could easily order one large fry to share between three people because the portion was pretty big! 🍟

Overall, the food was delicious, and we really enjoyed our meal! Definitely a place worth trying! 😋“

“This review isn't about the fries, although they are probably the best fresh fries in the city of Spokane.

No, this is specifically about the service. At the north Spokane location, we stopped in on Friday afternoon, and ordered a small fry order.

While we were waiting, the lady who took our order and I got to talking about the music playing in the restaurant. Round and Round by Ratt. This lady was pretty knowledgeable about 80's music, and she was a delight to talk with.

Thanks so much for a great conversation, and an IMMENSE bag of fries ((that was a SMALL???)) that were amazing.“

“We ate lunch at this Applebee's yesterday. We all chose the greatest choices on the menues because money was no worries. Too bad taking pictures of my food NEVER OCCURS TO ME. It was all beautiful, temperature appropriate, and great tasting! It was busy, but the wait staff and manager were very attentive and we lacked NOTHING! “Shout out to our server last night, Rose! What a DOLL! We were in a group of 6 waiting for the Sleep Token show, and she was a DELIGHT! She took the time to learn all of our names, remembered our many, MANY different drink and food orders between all of us, and was so pleasant and lovely the whole time. She looked out for us and recommended the time to order food and still get into the show in time, since the kitchen was so busy. She’s amazing, and we all adored her!“

“Nice place to grab a burger and a beer on the campus of Gonzaga University. It is located on the second floor of the Hemmingson Building. Besides burgers there are salads, salmon, and other bar food. I also like the macaroni and cheese. I eat here frequently Service is friendly and prices are reasonable. The Bulldog Pub is in the Hemmingson building, 2nd floor. Elevators and ADA accessable. A great place for lunch or dinner. Smaller menu, local beer and wine. Very good buffet this basketball season. Serves the buffet several hours before every home game (Men and Women). This is a no tip location.“

“LOVE THIS A&W. This location is literally better than the one on South Hill BY MILES. I’ve been to both, and if I have the choice, I’m coming to this one every single time. The overall experience here is just so much better. The food is good, the service is friendly, and I’ve always felt welcomed when I come in. Everything usually comes out pretty quickly too, and I appreciate that I’m not sitting around forever waiting for my food. I especially love coming here when I’m craving something quick but still want something that actually tastes good. The root beer obviously hits every time, and the food has been consistently good whenever I’ve ordered. The employees also make a huge difference because good customer service can completely change how you feel about a restaurant. Even when they’re busy, they still manage to keep things moving and treat people respectfully. I genuinely have a much better experience at this location compared to South Hill, and it’s not even close for me. If you’re trying to decide between the two, COME TO THIS ONE. I’ll happily go a little farther for the better experience. Definitely my preferred A&W location and I’ll keep coming back!“

“LET ME TELL YOU WHAT.. I'm from the other side of the state and had never heard of zips so I swung in. Took all the employees recommendations. Now I'm big time mad that there isn't a zips near home. Sooo good. Definitely not cheap but where is anymore. The employee was so kind and was perfect at her job. My food, so fresh and hot. I got the buster meal with a huckleberry pie milkshake and frys with fry sauce. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend. I'll probably be back before I leave town“
