We stopped in The Wild Sage on a FRIDAY night (1/9), and Tom, Laura, and Alyssa couldn't have been more pleasant and accommodating. “Stopped in for lunch and we ordered the shrimp po’ boy sandwich, impossible smash burger, brussel sprouts, and fried pickles. Everything was soo good. Atmosphere was laid back with lots of great furniture and decor. The staff were great and attentive and didn’t let our drinks run dry. Can’t wait to come back!“

I obnoxiously reserved a table for 13 the night before (I'm an airhead) for a group of picky middle-aged women who wants all the things and may need your right kidney as well (we drink a lot 🤷‍♀️) the server was nothing but accommodating, lovely, smart and so much fun! Wish I remembered her name! (Did I mention we drink a lot and I'm an airhead?) She let us all do separate checks (which she absolutely didn't have to do) but we appreciated it so so so much! “This tiny bar is inside Little Noodle House but you can access it and an after hours/late night food menu from the back of the building. It's almost like a speakeasy but not quite as tucked away. The drinks are super creative and delicious.“

“Grungy little bar. It was pretty kewl when it was a Gonzaga hangout. Met Marco Gongazlez there one time. Now its just a dive bar. One of the bartenders was selling drugs and it got pretty ugly in there.“

“The wild mushroom Toad in the Hole was fabulous. Make sure they get the yolks runny, if you prefer. Eggs Benedict was perfect. Aperol spritz, light on the Aperol, heavy on the prosecco was the right accompaniment for Easter Brunch. Most brunches are buffet which we stay away from. The bread is heavenly. Slightly Crunchy out side and buttery goodness inside. Reserve a window or if the weather is nice, sit outside since the one room restaurant is noisy during high census. Very high class for Spokane (I've lived 48 years here). I hope they continue this venerable culinary gem.“

“Fun dance club/bar/food source. Variety of music and dancing. We enjoyed the food although pretzel bites were overcooked. Mac and cheese really yummy!
Neighboring bar also a nice one with friendly staff. Affordable well drinks at $6 even on event nights.

Notes on block party: Block party line poorly managed with a 1.5 wait on pride parade night. Cover not disclosed on website/facebook/beginning of line. $10. Was also told cannot leave and re enter at entrance and would have to go to back of line. Pulled music at 10:30 outside. We had only gotten to listen to an hour worth of outside music because of long line. DJ was fun for the last half of the night. We will not attend this again and had more fun on Friday the night prior.

“Tucked away spot you pass by without realizing it - nice patio section out front complete with corn hole if that’s your thing! Large garage door kept open means it’s not kept cool with AC likely other places may be for those seeking respite from the heat. It has a sort of “clean aesthetic”/sports bar vibe with an actual phone booth inside. I had a dirty gin martini I’d say 3 out of 5 rating but that may be preference for real olive brine flavor. All in all a fun spot“
