Française Spokane | French offers a beautiful, warm and welcoming space with a superb menu. The music and atmosphere provide some of the best service, with very accommodating staff who are kind and good with children, providing coloring things and stickers. For those with celiacs, the chef makes most items gluten free, including an incredible steak sandwich on gf bread. Favorite dishes include the duck a l’orange with whipped parsnips, the hanger steak, and the duck. The happy hour salad, beignets, pommes frites, baked Escargo, and Truffle Fries are also delicious. Starters like the blanc de blanc, french onion soup with crusty cheese, warm olives with orange zest, and the pate are all tasty. The apple tart with Sauternes is a perfect end. It is a cool spot for a date; ask ahead for the window seat. Go during happy hour for cheaper prices like $5 drinks. The food is deliciously impeccable, and the service is excellent, warm, and caring. It feels like being in France.
