“This meal and dining experience was by far one of the best I've had in a long time. I wanted to go somewhere excellent for my birthday and remembered this gem. Being celiac, the gf options were abundant! The gf bread brought to the table was lovely and a perfect touch for gf diners to feel included in the experience. I ordered the Scarlett Queen, beautiful twist on the base of a cosmo. You could taste the fresh juice and craftsmanship in the cocktail. I had the pork belly appetizer that was crisp and tender, the kimchi... whew, delicious. I went with the Chef's Special, Almond Crusted Halibut. I believe I counted 4/5 different sauces with a treasure of fresh and perfectly dressed vegetables. I can not put into words how delicious this entree was. I was captivated and for a birthday entree it was a delicious treasure trove. I chose the coconut cake for dessert... so damn good. Thank you so much for a beautiful dinner. I don't think I caught our server's name, but she was excellent!“

“Came here later on a Thursday and was seated immediately. Tons more room inside than I thought. More adults than kiddos but definitely both family- and couple-friendly. Had a nice view of the pizza prep area and really enjoyed watching them make one of the best pizzas I've had in years! Crust was chewy but not too thick. Tasted the excellent cheese & sauce right away. Nice basil graced the top. Impeccable service (great timing, super friendly). Can't wait to visit Spokane again so I can go back to Wooden City... though I learned that there are two more in western WA...woo hoo!!!“

“So, we heard of this place as a recommendation from another coach of ours. It’s a super cute place with a great ambiance. I’m a fan of the inside, with the paintings (vibrant colors) from only one artist. That was pretty cool. The service again was fantastic and outstanding. I mean you really couldn’t do much better than this. It’s a super nice and friendly place. The food, that’s the big thing we are looking at hear. Being someone who lives in Texas, take this with a grain of salt.We had the chicken artichoke and tomatoes basil soups. Personally, probably the best soups they have. We tried the jalapeno popper and it was very spicy. The beer cheese soup tasted ungodly for us. However, not our thing. The beer bread was really odd too, but we don’t eat that typically. Overall, we tried a lot and it was a lot of fun. Love the atmosphere indeed.I would go back for soup again. I do love a good soup.“

“Our brunch got off to a bit of a slow start. We had reservations, got seated quickly but waited about 15 minutes before the server came over to out table to get our drink ordersOur meals arrived in just 35 minutes, which was great! While we were there, I didn’t notice any kids or teenagers around. I asked our server if they had a kid’s menu, and she said they didn’t. However, she suggested that the pancakes or cinnamon buns would be a great option for them, as they were thick and shareable - and they definitely are shareableHoneydew bellini. Sparkly bubble, not too sweet. I would say a mixture of sweet and tart. Loved watching the sorbet melt into the drink. The Butterscotch latte was not too heavy on the butterscotch, so it was not sweet. First time trying warm oatmilk. Overall, it wasn’t bad.Fried chicken and biscuitImagine biting into a juicy piece of fried chicken with a perfectly cooked egg on top and a flaky biscuit on the side. Delish! The chicken is not dry and wasn’t microwaved. And the biscuit...oh, the biscuit! It’s so flaky, my husband couldn’t resist stealing it. The coleslaw had a delicious sesame taste that complemented the meal perfectly. This meal is the definition of comfort food.Tallstack is the reason I came here temptation at its finest. It didn’t disappoint whatsoever the fluffiest pancakes I’ve eaten. Mike said it was too sweet for him. But he did like the pancakes by themselves. More for me, lolSteak and eggsRibeye, cook the way you like. Mike said he could tell the steak was not frozen, fresh meat. There’s a difference in quality.Overall, I was very impressed with the atmosphere, the vibe and vegan-friendly items on the menu. “I was visiting from out of town. Came to Spokane to spend my birthday weekend with my 2 son's. Not familiar with the area, my children's mom recommended Mizuna. The service- Both my boy's are now adults, but they also have autism. This sometimes triggers others to treat them like they're children. Our waitress directly engaged with them as if they were no different than any other normal adult. As if she couldn't even tell even though it's blatantly obvious. This encouraged my oldest to look directly at her and give his order with a clear and confident voice without stuttering. He even tossed in some hand gestures to over accentuate what he was saying. To the parents of kids on the spectrum, you know how huge this is. The food- Everything we ordered was awesome. The risotto balls, oven baked chicken, cashew crusted avocado noodles. The only let down was that they were out of the crème brûlée. The key lime and bread pudding definitely made up for it though. The drinks- I love me a good classic old fashioned. It's getting harder and harder these days to find an establishment that won't destroy this drink. The bartender came through on this one. My oldest son has a thing for espresso martini's. I asked him how it was and he responded with a double thumbs up. When it was time for the second and third drink, I just asked the waitress to get me whatever drinks she favored. Again she didn't disappoint. We finally ended the night with a couple shots of a very tasty espresso. The food, the drinks, and especially the awesome waitress (I wish I could remember her name). Grabbing something to eat turned into having a nice family dinner.“

“Ever I started coming to this I've felt like I'm becoming more and more like myself. I just can't wait until I can get my check back from the Spokane community college and then pay my debts. Then maybe move forward in my life and the city I live in with all these other people that are living in the same city. I like this business because it's local and I support the people that I choose to let be in my circle. I see real love here, a family of people that can just be themselves and listen to the same music and act like a goof or not act like a goof. People will let people be themselves up until I think of themselves are gonna hurt themselves or someone else's. I do honestly feel like maybe I'm slowly becoming more and more like family around here in Spokane. Where as before I was being quite so open and able to trust others. I don't choose the future or a future but in a way I kinda can choose my own future. I'm not trippin. But I am trying to keep putting 2 & 2 together, hopefully you and I would get four. I think if it makes sense and we can reuse it and it helps us out on some sort of and we should totally do that especially if it helps make money then we should totally you continue to repetitive do this thing that houses that makes sense.Kid-friendliness: I'll tell you what last night I thought it was Halloween night and I like everybody at this bar was like having a good time with dancing and I was like imma go for a walk meet up with this chick. Well I'm at the chicken for and she's a friend of mine and I came back to the bar and I was like damn that's what's up. Either way I figured out it wasn't but if that gives you any idea about the kid–friendliness and that everybody was dancing last night and having a good time and I thought it was Halloween but it really was not Halloween night... Right???“

Having spent the first 45 years of my life in the south SF Bay Area, home to a huge Vietnamese population and the greatest array of Vietnamese restaurants imaginable, I know good Banh Mi! This was a GREAT Banh Mi sandwich! I will likely request a little heavier on the jalapeno next time, my personal preference, but overall it was simply delicious with much more meat than you would normally ever get on a traditional Banh Mi! My companion got the egg salad sandwich and said it was delicious. Another friend, a vegetarian, also ordered a Banh Mi, but with tofu, and he loved it, too! The service was excellent and the atmosphere very relaxed. Used the restroom, my test for restaurant cleanliness (if the restroom is filthy I am out of there!), and it was perfect. The draft beer selection was not very good, and left a lot to be desired. Because if this, I went with the special and got a corona, and immediately remembered how much I don't care for it. We tried to play pool, but the cue sticks had absolutely no tips left on them. We asked if they had any spares, and they didn't. Was really excited to have this be a place to play, but definitely won't be back for the lack of detail to the bar games. The pickle fries were amazing, the chicken sandwich was too heavy on the breading, but the brioche bun was a great addition. “CPH was nothing short of amazing!! The hostess was super nice and the bartender even poured us drinks while we waited for our table. My partner had the Philly cheesesteak that was recommended by our server and I had the chicken sandwich with a soy chikn patty. As a long time vegetarian I appreciated the vegan and vegetarian options this restaurant provided - another big reason we went!We met Dani (sp?) and Robby and we really enjoyed getting to know them and talking to them. They were upbeat and seemed like they enjoyed working there! We will definitely be back next time we are in town“

“It has been a while since I have been in but I won’t wait this long again. Three of us had fish and chips and the other had shrimp and everyone was pleased with their food. Maya was our server and probably the friendliest server we have ever had. She kept our water and sodas filled without us ever having to wait or ask. Our early lunch today set a great tone for the rest of the day. Thank you Maya and thank you Jack and Dan’s! Go Zags!“

“Chill atmosphere with a great dj that kick off songs that are both relaxing and get you to get up and boogie. Bartenders and bouncers are both chill and badass peeps that keep the place legitimate. Pool tables could use some new bumpers and felt and could use some new bar sticks as most aren't straight, but thats bar sticks for ya. But all in all, 10/5 stars from galaxies unknown. Cheers! ??Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance is level with sidewalk, inside level, no stairs. If I was in a wheelchair, I'd roll it hard and good all over inside and in and out this joint!?‍ ‍➡️??‍ ‍➡️??“

“Got my rib eye steak to-go. Beautifully prepared to a medium temperature. Baked potato with the works was delicious (perhaps a touch too salty on the potato skin). Caesar salad was a good portion with a robust dressing. The food was on time and still hot when I picked it up inside. Sorry I couldn't stay and eat at a table since the place had a real energy to it. Maybe next time.“

“I don't know what happened to this place but judging by how much money they've spent on their sign and the layout etc. This must have been one of the sweetheart restaurants of Spokane at some point.I don't know if there's been a change of management or what but just things that are falling apart like wallpaper, leaky faucets and the bathroom. Messed up bathroom stalls etc. it is not a complete dive or anything and the food is pretty dang good.I like it here. It's just sad to see a once thriving prosperous business start to go down the wrong path for mismanagement.“

“We spent the night at the Davenport for new years and for dinner we went to the Peacock Room and when the time presents itself I’ll gladly go again. The cheese dip was delicious and the king salmon was to die for and our server was amazing, I wish I could remember his name. The drinks were amazing as well, I’m not a heavy drinker but the huckleberry lemon drop was very refreshing and tasty.“

“The location, setting and service were great. For the price of the steak, definitely not worth it. Out of 4 steaks, 2 fliers, one Wigyu and one New York, only person with the New York likes theirs. The other three were very charred, lacked flavor and were not tender.“
