“Food is great, place is clean and a very fun environment. Our daughter loves the trivia that is always on tv. BUT what makes this place phenomenal, is the service. These girls are SO much fun!! The blonde with bangs is the most amazing server and so entertaining. Totally caught myself dancing to the music like she was and getting caught up in her fabulous energy. We will continue coming in for the service alone. Everything else is a bonus.“
“Wow, what a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The staff is top-notch, so much attention to the table and to the experience. The food was delicious and plated very cleanly. Really enjoyed the drinks and the atmosphere was lively but not too loud. They had a wonderful couple, AP collective, singing, and they were fantastic. We will definitely come all the way in, over an hours drive, for this place again. Thanks for the great evening!Kid-friendliness: Great little menu with yummy food for the kids“
“Great local neighborhood restaurant. It’s off the beaten path. Usually busy but not so busy that you can’t get in. Full bar menu, and crafted food menu that changes seasonally. In the warmer weather the covered porch and patio is the place to be. The rustic cabin building gives it a warm cozy feel for the winter. The corn pasta is awesome.“
“A great experience for my family. We went for brunch. My mom is disabled and they were busy. The host took great care of her while waited for the table. The food was good. Definitely on the list for another brunch day idea.Parking: The lot was very full. We had to wait about 5 minutes for spots to open up.Kid-friendliness: Kids seemed welcome. I saw a few families. My group was all adults.Wheelchair accessibility: While it can feel like a tight fit, the Host goes out of his way to get people with disabilities comfortable.“
“Online order was ready when they said it would be, even though they were busy. Best sandwich in town! The regular is plenty big enough for one, grab the large for two people. Plenty of deli sides and options for everyone. You won’t be disappointed if you give this place a try.“
“The food menu used to be what we came for. Now, they've deleted the very items that made it worth it. The Reubens, the fish and chips, the taco salad to name a few. They HAD the best fries in town. And now they screwed that up and replaced with hand made fries. Soggy and burnt. We're bummed.“
“They have a big selection of beer and also serve cocktails. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable when asked about a couple of the brews on tap. We had a variety of pizzas at the table, which were all really good. The only complaint from one person was that the Margherita pizza didn't have a red sauce.“
“Food, service, ambiance...this place has it all. Luckily we were able to get in immediately at lunch time by sitting at the bar. Hubs and I each ordered the Astoria Bloody Mary. Pretty straightforward and hit the spot. Hubs ordered the Brunch Burger. It came with delicious fries. Sammy was solid. I ordered the Idaho Benny...hands down the best thing I've eaten in a long time. The crispy bacon and beef roast were on point when mixed with the potatoes and aioli. I wish I could have eaten it all, but the portion was HUGE! Great service as well!“
“I stopped by on my lunch as an amazon delivery driver and the oinker. I’ve never been here before, I decided to stop on my lunch and i’m so thankful I did! It was not only the best grilled cheese i’ve ever had, but best sandwich i’ve ever had. The meat was so tender and juicy, the flavors together were so harmonious! The customer service was amazing too, I was unsure of what to order as I had never came in before and the employees were patient and very kind! I don’t live close but i’m definitely coming back and bringing my family, this place is AMAZING! 1000/10 recommend.“
“This place is fan-freakin-tastic! The food is delicious and the staff is absolutely wonderful. I even had a regular customer (we were traveling) offer me the first bite of his pancake (I forget what kind, but it's great for borderline diabetics / diabetics). It may be paleo, but don't quote me. We will definitely patronize this local establishment when we're in Coeur d'Alene.“
“If i could give this place a million stars I would! The staff is wonderful, the gal that takes the orders is hilarious! We love her. My husband gets so excited everytime we go here because he loves the philly cheesesteak so much. These are the best.“
“AWESOME burgers, and the sweet potato fries were delicious! Tucked away in a tiny Rathdrum shopping strip, it's a delightful surprise. We've been here before, more than a couple years ago and am happy to report Penny's has just gotten better! ?“
“food was okay.. the service was good even out was busy and then as it died down we were left behind for a little. It was otherwise okay.. I don’t know if it’s really a place where I would go back just because the food didn’t really stand out.“
“Our wait time to get seated was about 50 minutes and each minute was well worth the wait! I love going to a restaurant that is buzzing with activity. Our server, Brody was extremely professional and his timing couldn't have been better. As busy as the restaurant was, we were made to feel as if we were his only table.Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures this visit, but I will definitely be going back. This is my favorite chain restaurant in our area and the ONLY chain restaurant that I prefer to go to. Every once-in-a-while I will try one of the other chain restaurants and leave disappointed.Keep up the great work!“
“We loved our evening at Satay Bistro! Food was amazing and exciting! Service was top notch! Every corner had a unique touch elevating your whole experience. Owners are the sweetest! Thank you so much for such a great evening! We will be back soon! We were too busy taking it all in we forgot to take photos!“
“Generous portions and well prepared meat!I visit CDA twice a month and I’ve tried several BBQ food trucks based upon reviews. This one definitely lives up the five star ratings. The 1/2 pound rack of ribs and 1/2 pound tri-tip were massive and smoked perfectly. Baked beans were excellent but just a little sweet for my taste. This BBQ was significantly better than others in the area because the meat was flavorful but not over seasoned. Staff was friendly and patient. I’m glad I tried it… it’s worth a visit.“
“Amazing food and staff. Burgers are always amazing, elk meatloaf is fantastic, can't go wrong with bacon, mac & cheese, eggrolls, and if you like pickles, then you need to try the fried pickle appetizer. With their ranch because their homemade ranch is amazing. They always have great monthly specials so you need to go in at least once a month and try something new.“
“Food was good. I had the mama t’s which has chicken parm on it. It was a little overcooked and under seasoned so I didn’t care for my food as much. My daughter had a kids burger and really loved her food. I’m willing to give it another shot. Overall great service. Lost points for atmosphere because the seats aren’t very comfortable to sit in for a long time.“
“While visiting some family, I was recommended Franklin's as the breakfast spot to visit. I was very happy with my meal at this cute little place.Grabbed some fresh OJ, eggs, sourdough toast, fruit, and their housemade sausage. Everything was delicious, but the sausage was the star of the meal. It had tons of flavor and seasoning. I was very impressed. My server was super friendly as well.I wish I lived in CDA so I could come back.“
“We ate here on a Friday night of valentines week. It was super busy so we sat at the bar. As busy as they were, they still made us feel like we were the most important people in the restaurant. The oysters, Brussels, salmon and duck were all so delicious and prepared perfectly. The bartender Jordan took the best care of us and a few members of the kitchen crew came out just to make sure everything was to our liking. Can't say enough good about this place and their team. 10/10 would recommend and we will be back for sure!“
“Updated review: friends drink was strawberry lemonade. It was see through and watery. She asked a nearby waitress why it would taste like that her reply was I think it's made with nectar. No ask if she may want a replacement. Now for my food. My waitress was super nice and wanted to make sure I knew what I wanted. I was having a hard time deciding sometimes I cant stomach things so I went easy and decided on a burger ??. It was described in the menu one way and brought out to me deconstructed as If I asked for it that way. Who in the world would want a cup filled to the brim with peanut sauce that was so thick It was like old toothpaste??When my plate was sat on the table the fries were ice cold and the burger barely warm I.picked one up immediately. I told the waitress she brought another plate of fries within just five mins...those were ice cold too! The burger was plain not even seasoned. The Little bit of pink was perfect!!! It was super mediocre and almost like the person making it forgot to put the burger together. We only wanted to spend a shorter amount of time there !! well our food for four people two people salads, me a burger and fries , and one like cold salad plate took almost an hour to receive. I didn't want to be mean to the waitress she was too nice..the food has changed. I've been coming to this place for over past 5 years. I know there are staff issues at many places. The influx of people since I moved here 12 years ago is crazy but.. this place is in my backyard and I Walk to it and would love to have things go better next visit. I do appreciate people working hard to do things for others. It's just if your gonna work hard why not do it right. Oh the pickles tasted spoiled. Literally. This visit was on Friday April 5th, 2024.This part of the review was from three years ago :Perfect visit for my friend Hannah's burthday!!!!! Thanks bardenay!!And another visit with these pics for my brother visiting from california“
“I moved away from CdA in mid-80s and live overseas now. Nevertheless, it's a must that I have a Huddie burger whenever I make an occasional visit to my hometown. Never a disappointment. Hudson's traditional no-frills hamburgers always satisfy my appetite. For generations, this small place has been big in reputation and a delight for taste. So, I'll always make a stop at Hudson's Hamburgers whenever I'm in town.“
“We visited Beverly's to celebrate our anniversary... We had a table reservation, arrived early so sat in the bar and immediately received a very warm welcome and positive energy from bartender Chris and from Cynthia... We enjoyed perfect ice cold martinis while we soaked in the gorgeous lake view... the bar staff was so nice, that when our table was ready, we chose to stay and dine in the bar as the chairs were low and comfortable and the views were outstanding. Upon ordering dinner, we started with a French Onion Soup and Beef Carpaccio that were both impeccable. The beef carpaccio was unique due to its dry aging and the French onion soup cooked to perfection to my liking as requested (extra golden on top). Even the bread service was delish... For our entree's, we shared the hot rock filet and holy cats it was a perfect medium and the presentation is outstanding with the fire-y creamy peppercorn demi-glaze poured over the steak and hot rock... We could cut the steak with a butter knife it was so tender... and flavorful... we also added a half pound of king crab legs which were fresh, blissful and hearty! As a sweet surprise, they added a handful of fresh rose pedals to our bar space in celebration of our anniversary. Throughout the evening, we truly enjoyed speaking with the bar staff, most notably, bartender Chris, who radiates with positive energy and loving vibes with a genuine heart... (ask him about his campground dream)... and Cynthia was lovely as well. A kind soul. From the moment we arrived, to hours later when we reluctantly left, we left with full bellies and even fuller hearts... Seriously, it was a wonderful experience we will not soon forget... Thank you so much for making our celebration special.“
“I was here about 5 years ago and the food is still pretty dang good. My favorite is eggs Benedict with extra sauce for the extra crispy hash browns. They did everything exactly the way I like it. This place is consistent. I highly recommend it.“
“Be Nice Or Leave - kind of assured my confidence that I will have nice people around. I loved their garlic cheese fries with a juice however all my friends loved everything else that I could not order.Coeur D’Lene will be a memory until next time!!“
“One of my absolute go to's! Gluten free sandwiches, chili's and cookies! Sensitive with my allergies and quality food, always fresh! So good! All my kids (6 of them) all find what they like here, a rarity!Kid-friendliness: My kiddos always are greeted with smiles“
“Capone's is one of our go-to places when noone can decide. The variety of food makes it easy for everyone in my picky family to find something they like. Pizza, wings, burgers, salads, and apps, everything is consistent. The staff is friendly and takes good care of you.Parking: The lot is small, but we have always found a spot.Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is sports bar-ish, so there is no need to worry about kids being a little loud.“
“I've lived here for six years. Great drinks, wonderful bartender, I was seeing rainbows.. gave me the best of the finest over and over at a good price. The "wave to no one troll game" from the bartender was priceless. Change your music to modern edm/hiphop/ vibezzzzzz and I'll be there every weekend. Move your bar over and make a dance floor and I'll fill your building every weekend! Great place, turn it down soothe bartenders can hear drink requests and it's a banger for unicorn rainbow city “
“Great fresh grubExcellent customer serviceCool atmosphere with a great viewRecommend with no negativesA favoriteVegetarian options: AvailableNot extensive but decent choicesDietary restrictions: Gluten free available or askVery accommodating when possibleParking: Lots ofKid-friendliness: Never seen a problemWheelchair accessibility: Ramp“
“Absolute hidden gem! Highly recommend the Philly cheese steak and the tots. Honestly.... We try to stop here Everytime we come through town. At first you might be skeptical thinking of gas station food, but it is all fresh made food and a clean little kitchen and the taste is divine! I wish we lived closer!“
“Had the chicken parm, would definitely recommend it. Hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. My girlfriend had the chicken Alfredo which was amazing too. Our server was nice but not quite on top of it, the lady who brought us our food was a rockstar though. The menus differs a bit from what you see online but they had most of the popular items.“
“My first visit, definitely not my last, the place is awesome... golf simulators are a must. Only downfall is only open till 9pm.. at least that's what I was told.. but food was awesome and brew on tap is better then ALOT of other places I have been.....“
“I eat here quite often when I'm in Coeur d'Alene. Food is great, and I'm very fong of the grilled cheese and french onion soup. Never disappointed.Parking: Limited parking, 1 accessible spot. Street parking is 2 hour limit, some accessibleWheelchair accessibility: Door at parking side is not accessible. Front/streetside is. Restroom is accessible.“
“My visit to Collective Kitchen in CDA delivered hands down, one of the best meals I've had. I could of closed my eyes and blindly pointed my finger to any of their amazing offerings and been blown away. Instead, we kept our eyes open and ordered Lamb lollipops for an app and Seafood Hotpot and Cottage pie. Delicious, up scale food that I would of payed twice what they charge. The service was was like it's own main course. Victoria took care of us from start to finish. What a personality!“
“Bar atmosphere- this was the First time @ Stormin Norman's! We were in Cda for an overnight stay and decided to try stormins for breakfast. The food was great and the bloody Mary's were delicious! Our server was very friendly and we even bought a souvenir t-shirt.“
“My friend an I had the Roosevelt Room and it was super cute with the lounge chair and armoire. The sun came in through the lace windows in the morning which made for a cozy start to the day. The garden around the house is so relaxing, I would have loved to spend more time hanging out there. We played some board games in the common space inside as well. Great location to access downtown and the lake. Highly recommend this location to stay.“
“Went to the Iron Horse on Friday to listen to HAZE. Our server was a little dynamo. Cyarra T. was very attentive, not overbearing! She took care of everyone. Food was not the best, it was typical bar food. Very salty and pre-made frozen. Drinks were good. Place was clean and pricing was fair ad reasonable.“
“Our first time for dinner, we had heard about Saturday night prime rib dinner. There aren't enough words to describe the meal. First it's advertised as 16oz cut of prime rib.... I would guess it's more like 20oz, it is accompanied by 3 cheese & garlic mashed potatoes, steamed veggies , grilled bread and usual horseradish & au jus . The meat is seasoned perfectly and so tender if you look at it it falls apart. No kidding !!Make sure you go hungry. We have been there for lunch too, great sandwiches and burgers. Open for breakfast also.“
“My family took me to breakfast on a weekday morning when I visited, and it was a great experience. Greated and seated right away. Despite it being busy, the servers were friendly and helpful, and it was a very comfortable atmosphere. Good variety of yummy items on the menu. The food was great and arrived at our table quickly. They even gave me a togo cup of fresh coffee. ❤️ (Not normal where I am from) I highly recommend this place and look forward to stopping in again.“
