“We were looking for a place to do lunch while in the Hayden area. We had a gift card so we headed to Panera's. There was plenty of free off street parking near the restaurant. We went for lunch and we able to order right away. There was plenty of seating available. The staff was friendly and efficient. Food was prepared well and served quickly. We enjoyed the Smokehouse BBQ Chicken Sandwich and the Broc Cheddar Soup. Our bill for 2 people for lunch was just over $21.“

The sausage was artisanal and delicious, the potatoes were perfectly seasoned with great mild spices (like rosemary used in moderation that added to the deliciousness), and the pancake was like a perfect silver dollar pancake...but it covered the plate. Bravo to the cooks, and the wait staff were super cool people. This is one of our two happy places for food in Coeur d'Alene, along with Best Barbecue.
We will repesat...again and again, whenever we are in town.“

“My husband and I ate at jimmys down the street this morning. I’ve never been here so I’ve been wanting to try it but never have the time and this morning I did. What a great little hole in the wall as it’s called. I didn’t get our waitresses name but she was great. I had the veggie Benedict it was absolutely delicious. My husband had the all American and again it was delicious. Being a waitress myself at Tito’s Italian grill and wine shop down the street I highly recommend this place. Great food and great service. Customers are always asking me a good breakfast place now I can say I’ve been there and highly recommend. So thank you to the cooks and staff.“

We loved the spicy edamame appetizer and both the shrimp and salmon teriyaki main dishes surprised us because of the generous portions!! “The owner of the Valley/CDA Carusos, Jesse, was so amazing to work with in the months leading up to our wedding. He checked in regularly, promptly answered questions, and was very organized. Our guests really enjoyed the food and there was enough for guests to get seconds and even have some left over at the end of the night! Jesse and his wife maintained the buffet for our event, and his wife even came over to let me know my favorite pizza was going quick and offered to bring me some! We are so happy we chose Carusos!“

“stuffed mushrooms, Lasagna, manascotti(seasonal special), and spaghetti with meatballs were all amazing! Best Italian I have had. The lemon bar and carmel brownie were also very excellent! My dad doesnt usually like lemon amd he preferred them over the caramel brownie. Our server Scott was phenomenal. Very attentive and had excellent customer service. Nice atmosphere and family friendly. Celebrated my birthday here and they had a card and birthday sash for me. 100% recommend coming here for special celebrations, date night or just a quiet dinner.“

I purchased a couple hand pies, cherry and strawberry rhubarb, and was very satisfied. Perfect amount of filling, buttery/flakey/light crust.. Her boyfriend was also there so she was sitting there cuddled up as I walked in, with other customers in there as well. Came back in a few minutes later to get a lid and awkwardly stood at the counter for her to get up from sitting with her boyfriend. Love wellness bar but service wasn’t there at this location.“
