“I got chicken noodle soup with a French baguette and a side of Mac and cheese.

This was my first time ever trying Panera and I was pleasantly surprised. The soup was so flavorful and hot. And the Mac and cheese wasn't what I was expecting, but it's a good thing because it was delicious. I'm also sick and tend to get picky with my Mac and cheese so it could've been better than I thought. But everything was amazing and truth be told, I am excited to try more food off their menu.“

The sausage was artisanal and delicious, the potatoes were perfectly seasoned with great mild spices (like rosemary used in moderation that added to the deliciousness), and the pancake was like a perfect silver dollar pancake...but it covered the plate. Bravo to the cooks, and the wait staff were super cool people. This is one of our two happy places for food in Coeur d'Alene, along with Best Barbecue.

“My husband and I ate at jimmys down the street this morning. I’ve never been here so I’ve been wanting to try it but never have the time and this morning I did. What a great little hole in the wall as it’s called. I didn’t get our waitresses name but she was great. I had the veggie Benedict it was absolutely delicious. My husband had the all American and again it was delicious. Being a waitress myself at Tito’s Italian grill and wine shop down the street I highly recommend this place. Great food and great service. Customers are always asking me a good breakfast place now I can say I’ve been there and highly recommend. So thank you to the cooks and staff.“

“The owner of the Valley/CDA Carusos, Jesse, was so amazing to work with in the months leading up to our wedding. He checked in regularly, promptly answered questions, and was very organized. Our guests really enjoyed the food and there was enough for guests to get seconds and even have some left over at the end of the night! Jesse and his wife maintained the buffet for our event, and his wife even came over to let me know my favorite pizza was going quick and offered to bring me some! We are so happy we chose Carusos!“

“This was the mist exceptional restaurant experience I've had in a very long time. From our server (didn't get her name), to food, and wait. We had 4 adults and 4 children. First our server never quit checking on us. And was prompt with anything we needed. Second she brought out the kids meals before the adults. If you dine with children you know the struggle of hungry kids. Especially when they have been on the road since 6am and ate dinner at 10pm. The food was amazing! How often do you see a 1 year old eating salad? The price was very reasonable. $130 for 4 adults with drinks and 4 children with drinks! “I love this restaurant. The atmosphere is really inviting and cozy. I love their ceiling lights that really set the mood. It looks like a night sky and it covers the entire area. I always get a booth because it is more intimate. The waitresses are always super nice and if you want any suggestions on what to eat they have a lot of information for you. You can get your dish as spicy as you want. They do stars to decide how spicy you want it or not at all. The dishes are always very full. I can never eat the whole plate. I always have leftovers which is nice. The pad Thai is really good and I would suggest to try their Thai iced tea, which is delicious. The prices are very reasonable also.“
