“Great food ! Wide variety of menu choices and they'll fix it how you want it. A friendly neighborhood spot to eat in or get take- home. Definitely recommend.Parking: Off-street parking lot in front of building, easy access off NW blvd.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs into the business - easy access, plenty of space inside.“
“We tried this place for the first time today on my birthday! We were told that it's a good place to get really good Mexican food. The best way I can describe this food I would say is Mexican fast food. I will say it's one of the better places to get Mexican food from, simplyfor the flavor most places don't do that well up here in the PNW. However, this isn't a typical Mexican food place, and even though it was good it's not the place we'd frequent La presa in airway heights is hands down our go to. Tacos El Sol doesn't serve chips and salsa, but they do have a salsa bar. My favorite from their salsa bar would be the avocado cilantro salsa. My husband was hoping for a lot of spice , and said none of the salsas were even hot / spicy to him. He ordered camarones a la diabla and there was no spice to this dish (I tried it myself and I cannot do spicy), so it wasn't up to par there. We even asked if it would be spicy as we know most places in Spokane cannot do spicy. This place doesn't do spicy as they told us it would be very spicy. I ordered the shrimp fajitas, my husband said he liked my dish more than he liked his own. Both of our dishes the shrimp was served with the tails on, this is not typical for Mexican food. We literally had to dig into our shrimp to take off all the tails before we could eat our food. The horchata was really good just less cinnamon-y than it is down south. My husband also liked the horchata better than the jaritos pineapple drink that he got. The service consist of they take your order at a walk up counter, call your name for your food when it's ready, you go and get it and serve yourself, and clean up after yourself. Which it looked like several people did not do. We got there right at opening and the floors were very dirty there was trash on a table and it wasn't wiped up another couple came in behind us and they sat down at a booth that had stuff and trash underneath it. Overall it did look appealing visually otherwise just not very well kept. And the mess that was left there I don't know how long it's been there because we were the first people in the restaurant, they literally had to come unlock the doors for us.“
“Fast & delicious Bean & Cheese burrito! And chips & salsa while you wait [which wasn't so long, so I used the chips to scoop out some burrito mix...crunchy yum! Staff was friendly too.Don't judge a book by it's cover, they focus on your food more than the outside appearance!“
“Service is 3 only due to long lines and food wait times not their actual service which friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. Food is amazing but pricey. If you want to save money get the 2 simple tacos on kids menu. Absolutely delicious and you can get 2 orders aka 4 tacos for $11. If you want 1 of a kind tacos, their artistic style tacos should be tried and enjoyed. This company deserves you patronage as a small local business serving amazing food which is RARE in Spokane! Spokane's food game is usually tragic lol. I have never had a bad meal or drink there! If you are doing "to go/pick-up" orders, there is a dedicated register. No wait...“
“I'm a regular for Happy Hour street tacos or Taco Tuesday discounts. The Barbacoa is to die for but the smoked pork is an excellent compromise when they run out of Barbacoa. (Why do they always run out?). The house rojo and verde sauces are really good too. Grab a beer next door and its a perfect meal.“
“Had a nice time at this cute little bar. We were really excited to visit this bar because it’s lesbian veteran owned from what we read on Facebook. Was disappointed to hear that this bar is struggling like it is but than coming in and not feeling the friendly vibe from the owners who were hanging out with their own friends made sense to “maybe” why they’re struggling. I hope this helps, I truely would love to see you guys succeed.“
“This was our first time here and I'm very pleased with the food and service. We ordered a flight of tacos and the rebel fries, which hit the spot and compared to Mexican food back home. Our server was Celia-she was great and even helped me celebrate my boyfriend today, as it was his birthday. We are new to the area and the whole experience was such a warm welcome that we will remember. Thank you De Leon staff. We hope to be back soon!“
“Service is as great as the food!! If you are looking for an authentic Mexican cuisine, look no further!! Not only is it delicious but reasonably priced. The only draw back is it doesn't have a full bar, serving beer & wine only, along with soda.“
