“This review isn't about the fries, although they are probably the best fresh fries in the city of Spokane.

No, this is specifically about the service. At the north Spokane location, we stopped in on Friday afternoon, and ordered a small fry order.

While we were waiting, the lady who took our order and I got to talking about the music playing in the restaurant. Round and Round by Ratt. This lady was pretty knowledgeable about 80's music, and she was a delight to talk with.

Thanks so much for a great conversation, and an IMMENSE bag of fries ((that was a SMALL???)) that were amazing.“

“If you love old arcades and chill ambience, this is the place for you!!! The gentleman that served us was incredibly kind and attentive to the patrons. (Also was kind enough to show us some snippets of a cat calendar to our friend group!)
I highly recommend this place, and plan to visit a lot more in the future! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!“

“Wonderful outstanding burgers. I'm not sure exactly what makes them so delicious but they are good. The fries are excellent with the Cajun seasoning. My only complaint is on the menu it says little fries and they're humongous a little fry is enough to feed a family 😁“

“LOVE THIS A&W. This location is literally better than the one on South Hill BY MILES. I’ve been to both, and if I have the choice, I’m coming to this one every single time. The overall experience here is just so much better. The food is good, the service is friendly, and I’ve always felt welcomed when I come in. Everything usually comes out pretty quickly too, and I appreciate that I’m not sitting around forever waiting for my food. I especially love coming here when I’m craving something quick but still want something that actually tastes good. The root beer obviously hits every time, and the food has been consistently good whenever I’ve ordered. The employees also make a huge difference because good customer service can completely change how you feel about a restaurant. Even when they’re busy, they still manage to keep things moving and treat people respectfully. I genuinely have a much better experience at this location compared to South Hill, and it’s not even close for me. If you’re trying to decide between the two, COME TO THIS ONE. I’ll happily go a little farther for the better experience. Definitely my preferred A&W location and I’ll keep coming back!“

“My experience with this restaurant was the best I have ever had. John was the one that helped us, and he was not only extremely polite to the customers, but I heard him thinking his coworker for making a chili dog after asking his coworker if the chili dog under the burner had been sitting there for a while. He chose to make a fresh one for me and the food was great. I would definitely come back.“

“Wife and I stopped here from what seemed tail end dinner rush. Ordered A&W and we were both super happy with everything. The presentation of the food was spectacular in all honesty. Haven't had a root beer float in years either. So it was fun to just have something out of the ordinary and have it be as good as I remember. Food was even brought to our table which was also super nice at what looked like the end of a long chicken shift. Thanks again!“
