Didn't have any food here but drinks were fantastic and the atmosphere was spot on. I love the card tables in the bar, it's the few remaining cardrooms around. Disappointed that we found this gem so close to closure. We would've become regulars.
I liked it here, though the smell and odor of the place is a bit overwhelming. My cousin's husband also paid twice for our drinks after one of the bartenders claimed he was not paid. That didn't sit well with any of us since we watched the bartender take his card and charge it.
Mac's is great if it's what you're looking for! It's a smaller, intimate (kind of divey) bar. Usually have open pool tables & the biggest draw seems to be their poker tables. More of a rock & roll vibe then a hip hop younger crowd scene. Lots of regulars who have been going there for years with a phone app jukebox. Always have great bartenders that make great drinks & have fast service (don't have to wait an hour to get a drink), just one bartender...
