Very interesting.... The view is beautiful
We stayed a night here on the last night of our three days in Olympic National Park. We hadn't booked anywhere for the south west area of the park and were thinking we'd have to drive an hour to Aberdeen for accommodation then an hour back in the morning for our last day in the National Park. We asked a ranger at the Hoh Rain Forest Visitor Centre and he suggested there might be accommodation in Amanda Park near Lake Quinault which is how we found Lake Quinault Inn. It is basic motel rooms but was clean, quiet and comfortable and a good price (£144.22) especially compared to the Lake Quinault Lodge! The owner was helpful and friendly and gave us restaurant recommendations. She said that a friend (might have been her daughter) had just been to The Salmon House on the south shore of the lake and that it was really nice. So we checked in and immediately drove the 10 minutes there for dinner. We got a table overlooking the lake and had one of the nicest meals of our trip - both in terms of food, view and a restaurant. I am sorry we didn't see the Lake Quinault Inn owner the next day to thank her as we really appreciated her recommendation. She'd also thoughtfully left the TV remote control on our room doorstep when we got back. I'd definitely recommend staying here as it's good value in a great location. The next morning we did a full driving loop of the lake by carrying on along the road on the north side of the lake and then returning on the south. A few miles were dirt track at the end but it was a beautiful, fun and easy to drive.
While there are few affordable places on the west coast of the Olympic Peninsula, the Quinault INN was a very pleasant surprise. The structure is somewhat of a throwback to the old “motels” of 40+ years ago, but the accommodations were excellent and very reasonable. Our “suite” was very clean, with comfortable furniture, great beds, and a good shower. Bedrooms are a decent size, with a 3rd bed in the common living space. Location was handy to all things Quinault! Manager was friendly and knowledgeable in helping us find good spots for meals, driving tours around the lake, etc. Quinault Inn was a good value, and very convenient!
Just the kind of simple, clean, restful and friendly place we wanted to begin and end a multi-day backpacking adventure. They even held our extra bags for us so we wouldn't leave gear in the car at the trailhead.
We enjoyed this great location on the West side of Olympic National forest. It was clean and did the job. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and front desk manager was kind and pleasant. Would recommend
Very comfortable, clean and just nice rooms in a peaceful setting and with a very friendly host. Lovely place to relax. And as the host recommended to us, go visit Maple Glade which is close by instead of dealing with the headache of Hoh Rain Forest
Room was very run down. Pictures seen in other reviews didn’t look like our room, they had been updated a bit. The suite was large, 3 queen beds and a fridge, tv, microwave and 1 tv in the main room. No air conditioning and the room was sweltering hot even with windows open with screens and fans in windows. The rooms, furnishings and carpet was in need of a deep clean and a paint job. There was a nice grassy area outside with some picnic and lawn furniture with a bbq. The motel sits between a little store and an RV/trailer park. The woman running it was very nice.
Outdated room in need of repair, no air conditioning, stayed on the 4th of July night - the trailer park next door set off fireworks until 1 am. At check-in we were told the owner would be staying on the property that night as well and that the fireworks would stop by 10 pm, they did not. Too hot to keep the windows closed without air conditioning, windows open meant no sleep because of the noise
First of this is not a 5-star glam hotel, but if you are looking at getting a great bang for your buck and you plan to spend more time outdoors seeing Olympic National Park and hitting the trails, seeing the lake this is the place for you. The motel is right off the highway and a few minutes from the Quinalt Rainforest and its trails. The room was clean, the water was hot when needed, and we felt safe. There is a store nearby where you can restock a few items. There are only limited meal options but if you travel light and do need much and rather spend your money on activities this place is for you.
We loved our stay at Lake Quineault Inn. We arrived right as check-in started and the proprietor was very nice and had good suggestions on what to do around the area! The room was clean and came with refrigerator and microwave. There was a nice lawn area with benches, tables, chairs and BBQ to relax and we took full advantage of it. A store is conveniently located right around the corner. It was quiet at night despite being close to the 101.

Loved this place! Clean and nit. It was perfect location wise for my trip. The surrounding area is pretty cool, if you like nature. I would recommend this place. A bit isolated, not a lot of food options.
This is a typical you get what you paid for story. With the average hotel cost well about $200 in this NP, finding a place at around 100-150 range with 4 star review made me think I found a deal. Huge mistake. I truly believe the other good reviews were here because the other travelers properly adjusted their expectations, not because they were trying to give misleading information to future visitors. First, this motel is right at the corner between 2 major roads, one of which is 101! The distance between my window and the driveway was just a few steps. This place surely doesn't have double panel window or any kind of sound proof. If you are a light sleeper of any degree, look somewhere else. My lesson is always to check map before booking for future trips. Second, the heater in the room was so loud! We first left it on, and the room became unbearably hot and the temperature setting was 100% useless. we got up to turn it off, and after a bit it was freezing. we took this mid-of-night exercise of getting up and laying back to bed 4 times throughout the night, plus the traffic noise, which means I got 0 sleep for the night. Third, the bedding was not clean. I found stains and hair there. We suspected it was cleaned and changed between guests. of course I wast 100% sure but it certainly didn't live to my hygiene expectation. To be fair, the bathroom was very clean as a comparison! and the water pressure was good too. Overall, one needs to adjust his/her expectation when booking a motel lower than average cost in the area. It was our mistake that we didn't. hence I gave an extra star back in this rating. But if you are used to national average level of motels, this place may be a huge letdown.
Nice place. Nice people. Beautiful dog next Door. Nicely kept. Gorgeous view
Nice hotel. Clean and quiet with well-running ice machine. The In was right off the main road and down the street from Lake Quinault. There is a great cafe jsu down the highway from the Inn that serves up great breakfast and lunch.
The rooms are quite spacious with 2 queen beds. There is a fridge and microwave. In colder wweather I think it would be fine. We were there in quite warm weather. There is no a/c and when you open the windows, you get traffic noice from quite early on. In addition the room gets really hot despite that. They supplied 2 fans but they just moved the hot air around, like hair driers. We were glad to leave really.
